Twotter Update tomorrow

Haven't tried it myself but according to some on the official MS forum the sounds haven't been fixed at all. They've just adjusted the volume a little. Sounds like we're stuck with what AS gave us on that front.

Wow, that is disappointing if true.

Glad I did not jump on this aircraft. Aerosoft disappoints yet again. PMDG and JustFlight have set the bar of what payware aircraft should be.

Hopefully someone else makes a Twotter.

It is a wonder, given the acidic condemnation of Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, Asobo, Aerosoft, Carenado, Captain Sim and most other entities that dare to charge "good money" for flight simulators and their addons, that there are any simulators at all, or indeed any payware developers, unless of course the highly vocal critics are in fact the small minority outside the majority of reasonably satisfied customers. Who knows what might be going on in the real world outside?

Well, I tried and it doesn't seem to me they just adjusted volume. Patch 3.3 gigs

By the way MK was gloating about how many sales they made of this aircraft I really don't think we should be feeling sorry for AS. They're doing just fine thank you very much. Spare a thought for the poor souls who spent good money on an AC who's sounds are so annoying its almost unflyable.

Sounds are even worse than before. What is this soundguy AS have been hiring, Its the worst sound i ever heard in any 30euro payware product period.

I can tell the same thing about pretty much any AC I flew IRL LOL

Is there a triangle wheel mod yet? I don't like the square ones.

Well, the twotter one looks mostly superb in texturing atleast inside the cockpit and pretty much outside too, except for a tiny less detailed wheel, wich I really have to zoom a lot in to notice, but the JF Arrow looks word not allowed when it comes to texturing pretty much everywhere. Why doesn't the JF Arrow get the same hate?? I have it and I love flying the Arrow, but the texturing is really bad, not even close to default aircraft.... Im not hating it, the flightmodell makes up for it,  Im just saying........

You can even retract the flaps without any power on the aircraft. lol

Na true:p

Anyway, my wife just slept off, so I gotten to the stage of testing the new update, started contrail, but no updates is coming. How do I update this thing?

Oh no - the update isn't looking too good.  Needs more work.  They don't seem to know how the WWise sound system works.  Someone has posted up on the Aerosoft forum offering them help.  What is going on over there?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Give us proof with a picture please, Im really trying to see what you see, but I cant see it...

They are seriously crying about slight polygon/hexagonal aliasing on the wheels, you really have to look hard to see the lack of smooth circles.

This picture is V1.0 of the plane before the patch.

AS has never to my knowledge provided decent sounds on any of their aircraft.  CRJ sounds aren't good either. No gear noise, ground roll sounds, wind, etc...ridiculous...
