The mod is superb, but the point is you have to purchase the sound set - about £10, 13 Euro, $15US.  So some people are saying why should they, the sound set provided by Aerosoft should be good enough.
So I suppose it depends how much disposable income you have!  :smile:  One thing is for sure, the difference in quality between the 'improved' Aerosoft sounds and the third party sound set is like night and day - Aerosoft still have a long way to go.

I initially thought the sounds were better, but after a second flight you can still tell it's still not right. I opted for the TSS sound pack, and just finished installing it. What a difference, £10 extra, but i'm ok with that for the improvement.

Great business model, release an aircraft with bugs, and then let others  charge for additional add ons to make it the way it should be. Everyone wins. 😉

Does anyone know why the left and right engine RPM gauges have different yellow and green bands on them?

@Dave-

I seem to remember reading a post from MK stating their survey aircraft had the mismatched markings.

@All-

Any word on when Orbx will push the Aerosoft update?  I didn't want to faff with Aerosoft One, but I'm wondering if I was bright...

Thanks, I wonder what the real world reason would be out of curiosity?  It seems unusual to have different limitations.

I would "guess" that's what was available at the time... older RW aircraft are often a hodge podge of sourced parts, especially in the farther reaches...

Most likely exactly that... limitations are identical, one gauge just has a different marking on it from what it was taken from... not that it can be run differently. Those markings are glance indicators, not 'vital' to match if they're running to the POH they'll know what the power settings will be. Things get swapped and change and bodged and repaired and a spare that exists is needed so they grab what they can get... perfect on aircraft only exists when they leave the factory... after that it's anyone's guess.

Thanks, that makes sense.  Nice to see you hear at Avsim BTW, I think I've watched just about all of your videos so now when I read your posts I hear them my head in your voice lol.

it's available from Just Flight or Simmarket. links to Just Flight. If your not aware you also need the addon from Flightsim.to Here

Link

(Anyone doing this needs to know what they are doing as you could mess up the Airccraft, or even MSFS if you are unsure. All instructions in the first link)
