AC = Aircraft PSXT can automatically look for AC and AC packages. Use RealTraffic with AIG (free) and PSXT (free) for a simulator populated with real traffic for the whole world, including GA. Gates at larger airports pre-populated with the correct airlines/aircraft. Tuning into LiveATC.net lets you hear all the live traffic too! Flying GA with Foreflight on the iPad is quite incredible when you fly under/over class B/C/D - departures/arrivals/taxiing aircraft are all visible in the controlled airspace. Flying a pattern at a GA field with all the traffic actually there is great fun. If random ATC chatter without the aircraft visible out the window is what you want, because its free, then that is great too. March 23, 20224 yr What happens on final or approach, how do you fit in the pattern? Can it disable aircraft around you by a certain nm to avoid this?

Disable aircraft in the pattern - surely some sort of offence? 🙂 Fit in as you would in real world. Extend the downwind, go around etc to avoid collisions. If your not happy with something in the real world your reaction can be done in the sim - great fun! You can block one callsign and take its place, or just enter the "train" at a suitable distance after your predecessor. The aircraft behind you will be removed by PSXT if it comes too close. But anyway this is of course only relevant at major airports with one landing runway in use, such as EGLL, if you fly to Ibiza for instance there will always be a "hole" where you fit in.

I can fly a full flight that has center control that will control me from takeoff to landing and not see another aircraft if nobody is flying where i am. In that instance, I can have ATC controlling me, and still land and takeoff from airports that look more realistic because they have traffic.
