I have a 4k monitor and scaled the res back to 2k, ran MSFS and adjusted options down to new res and then bumped the res sliders up +25%. I did leave my VSYNC at 30 and flight was very smooth. Even better was Track Ir was even smooth while rotating views where it usually is slightly choppy while turning head. Maybe placebo, maybe not. 😎👍 Regards,Pivoti9-10900k * 64Gb Ram * MSI RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio * Steel Series Arctis Pro Wireless Headset * Win11 Home x64 * Beam ET * TM Warthog Combo, Honeycomb Alpha & Saitek Pro-Rudders
March 30, 20224 yr How does NIS really differ from the render scale slider within MSFS? Is it likely to make a big difference? I currently use a 2k monitor at native settings with render scale in game set at 100. What NIS settings should I begin to experiment with? Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
