Leonardo Maddog to be released 30 April!

Today's stream with a German Streamer flying the Maddog. Little pre-warning, he has no idea what's he's doing so you'll see him take off with the standby still caged, the master caution still illuminated, and he slams those poor JT8D's to 2.28 EPR's. Thankfully he has failures off, haha.

It's a beautiful aircraft in this stream. I can't wait!

That must be Fabio's secret twin...

@WestAir Flight deck looks pretty sweet. Cabin textures could be bumped up a touch for those who like to peruse the cabin. I intend to stay up front! PS: The streamer's favourite color is red as in redline!

@Fiorentoni Ouch! But kinda true. Again, why a jetliner 2 years in the making is not handed over to folks familiar and capable of flying the aircraft in order to really showcase the model in a professional manner continues to baffle!

I agree the procedures for flying this beast takes some time to learn. This is not a jump in the cabin and fly aircraft by any means.

I wish I didn't delete FSX, I really need to go over startup procedures before this releases.

I haven't flown the Maddog in almost 2 years now.

Yes, I was pretty harsh. I remember back in the days of P3D when it took me 5 hours (literally) to get the engines started on the Maddog the first time. But it's sooo rewarding to finally master that complex airplane, great immersion. Never got that feeling with the others.

I'm looking forward to this.  Downside is that I'm going to have to figure out what flows my FS2Crew FO has been doing all these years.  Hopefully the wait won't be too long for the MSFS version.

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, but will this come with documentation and manuals? Tutorials flights, etc?

Same. I will have to relearn this plane. I want to know if Stefano is still using the old method of allocating switches to LVARs for my Saitek Switch Panel. I had done a lot of work on my profile for it where most of the essential switches and procedures were from the Switch Panel.

Im stuck on a plane right now for 5 more hours and would love to get a head start on the manuals or documentation. If anyone could point me to some, that would help the time go by!

Of those who have flown this aircraft on FSX/P3D is it easy to fly for a 737 pilot?
