Not everyone has your unique "study level" quality add-on. I doubt that most add-ons would be approved. If it's not worth it, either the price would be dropped significantly, or customers will not buy or recommend. It's got to be a flavor of the month to be worth it.

There is another study-level plane out there that nobody appreciates the way I do.  It is so complex that you have to use your imagination to pilot it as it comes with no cockpit.  And if you don't like the the default sounds its aliased with, or the the flight model of a plane not even close to its size and weight, you can simply humm the sound of the 4 turboprops, and pretend its just a very light, heavy transport aircraft. 🤣

One of the other complex things about it is how to get tech support for it. 🤔  Another is how their marketing material got simmers to buy it, expect it to, oh I dunno, fly like the plane it looks like, and when it didn't, leave no other avenue to fix it other than a link they keep posting when questions are asked why it sounds and flies like aB350, but looks nothing like one.  It WAS documented in the marketing, but the weird (and complex) thing is how they seemed to hypnotize simmers into seeing it written there, but ignoring it and still buying it, and somehow expect it to morph into a fully complete plane when it loaded in the sim?  How do they continue to dupe simmers into buying it, expecting more than what the dev says it is?  THAT is the most complex thing about this dev's products. 🙄

DRM handling is massive, to this day I am still clearing licensing keys for AI Lights Reborn Professional (P3D) when people change computers, etc. and I am not even selling more than 3 copies per month.. every-time someone activates AILRP for the first time I get charged $2 usd for DRM handling.. not to mention the difficulties and time it takes to code DRM protection, installers, etc.

Now some people argue DRM development is pointless, well folks that might be the case when you can sell million of copies of a product.. so for UBISOFT, Activision and such large firms piracy is a problem but not an issue, however for small companies such as my family business + operating on a niche market such as Flight Simulation, piracy it is a big problem.. I know 3rd party devs on this business where their products pretty much stops selling as soon as it gets pirated, and this can occur as fast as 24 to 72 hours after release! at which point and I quote, "they sold 4 copies in the last 3 months, after having around 70 copies daily"........

 

I , and probably a lot of other people, had no Idea of the inherent extra costs to Not using the MP.

Rules and Regulations related to anything now days is often driven by money. Market Place is far from my favorite place to purchase, but there are other things about the sim I don't care for, yet it's currently the only sim I use. Due to the fact that I'd like to have the S4 and support FSReborn, I will make my 3rd purchase of an MP product.

We have been pretty much cleared by market place and we are scheduled for release this week, not sure when.. they will let me know.. maybe tomorrow.. but so far all is green light unless they tell me otherwise later tonight, it is 22:30 Z.. (11:30pm local UK Time).. I am working as usual on other stuff while we wait... will be up probably up to 01.00Z as usual.. so if I hear anything I will shout.

All beta testers already received it via their market place earlier today for final checks.. so things are in motion..

Can’t wait to buy this. Probably won’t fly it much but this is the kind of addon I want to see in Msfs so I’m more than happy to support the developer.

I’ll fly it plenty, it’s just a bit slow for my limited free time so I’ll be limited regarding when I can fly it, but I want to support any of your future endeavours as this looks like a winner immersion wise.

Hehe....I think you should have coded into the plane that you can't pull the chute until you have at least 10 hours on the plane....LOL.  I can't imagine how many 1st flights will be cut short when everyone starts eyeballing that chute handle and thinking...."Hmmm...this would be a cool place to float down to earth at" 🤣
