The other option is to send a support ticket with pics. That's much more constructive than expressing the displeasure with pics or simply saying something looks bad without seeing it from a distance. And they are and OrbX knows but it's okay, as always, to talk about it in the relevant communities as well instead of always trying to sweep everything under the carpet as it also works as a healthy warning for the scenery. Yes, but my point is ORBX has now resorted to pumping out low quality products from low quality developers. Most of the time they will say it was developed by AMSIM or whatever the 3rd part development house was. But this just has the ORBX label on it. Compare this Boise scenery to Burbank or Brisbane with the ORBX label and you will see what we are all talking about. There was a time when if ORBX put their name on it it was going to be amazing... now you have to be careful buying from ORBX. I have officially complained ORBX, let's see if they do something. I don't think they will. The new MO of developers is: If customers find it subpar we will just lower the price. Another thing I worry about is that Vertical Sim may abandon the project if they think people will buy the ORBX version. Another thing that is ridiculous is that this scenery is taking 4GB of disk space. 4GB for that low of ground texture quality, no modeled interior. Edited June 5, 20224 yr by aniiran

From a distance P3D ports look better. Wen we examine closely, that's when it gets blurred. Yeah I guess I agree. the pavement is odd in MSFS and I'm just not sure why. The part I don't agree with you on however is the LOD. I can be on final approach and still many things haven't loaded into view yet. In p3d this rarely happened. I'm the first to admit that most things outside the airport fence in p3d look far worse than msfs. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

My setting is ultra. MSFS

Have to agree with @DJJose, I've got a lot less late-loading-in on MSFS than I had on P3D, but that could be because I effectively had to use a lower LOD in P3D than in MSFS. I can't say I've ever noticed something loading in only on final approach in MSFS, but obviously I wouldn't notice some baggage cart dropping in while focused on the landing. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 6, 20224 yr wow, been following this a bit. Basic question: Is this package $12 US better then default? For me yes, as anything is better than default. Products developed by the "Partners" do not carry the ORBX label at all and each one has a link to its developer's support system.
