Haven't seen anything posted about it looks like finally were getting my home town airport ewr by drzewieckidesign yes he did a basic one for p3d but this one looks like its gonna be better. images were posted on instagram.

Hopefully nothing like their p3d version.  I like their mdw however in msfs 

Looking forward to this and hoping they also do custom taxiway lighting like most devs are starting to use. The default MSFS taxiway lighting kills me. Their P3D version wasn't the best so hopefully they do indeed do better this time around!

Drzewiecki Design is amongst my favourite scenery devs for MSFS, their MDW airport is outstanding amongst others. They really take advantage of MSFS well.

Why can't we get a good KLGA or a KJFK for New York, raises my question. Feelthere and default "hand crafted JFK" is not cutting it.

Oh but! There is so much addon fodder for the NYC area that adding more will cause a lot of choices to be made. And even then.......

Who wants to fly into New Jersey instead of New York in a sim or real life. KEWR is the alternate of JFK or KPHL

Newark is literally just a few miles from NYC. I grew up flying out of KEWR. All three of those airports are in the same Class B Airspace.

Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford NJ been there and know people worked there 20 years ago. Nothing special about that place no desire to go there anytime soon not even in a GA plane in a flight sim.

Spent much of my teenage years at the Meadowlands going to Devils games. One thing of note is that the view of Manhattan while on approach to KEWR is pretty cool, better than going into JFK. Also, KEWR is the fifteenth busiest airport in the USA, while JFK is 13th. You don’t even have to get out and walk the streets of Newark in flight simulator!

Ok I will concede you are a real pilot that have flown there before (EWR) and as a passenger I have only been to LGA and JFK in that area maybe I should rethink what airport should be modeled . I'm used to IAD, DCA and BWI. One question do they have international flights out of KEWR? Looking for a PMDG flight from there to EHAM.

jbdbow1970's earlier comment reminded me of my old Flight Sim World and the first airport they ever released as an add on was .... Big Bear! Before then I had never heard of the place but it was a pretty good add on really. 

Newark is so much easier to get to out of midtown than the “Long Island” options ;).  Path train takes you right there.  Have taken MANY flights out of KEWR and would love to see it properly represented.  Drzeweicki does amazing work so am really looking forward to this.
 

Would also love (as others have mentioned) a better KLGA and KJFK, but at least for now there are reasonable enough options to use while we wait.

Several international flights go out of EWR, in fact last time I flew out of there was in 2015 to Panama City, Panama. However, they go to most major destinations in Europe and Asia. It is essentially what JFK is but for the metro New Yorkers that live on the Jersey side. If you check out Wikipedia you can see all of the destinations. You can go almost anywhere overseas, and many are direct flights. I am only a private pilot and I’ve never flown into KEWR, but I did rent a plane a couple of times at Essex County KCDW which was pretty cool. Regarding EHAM, United goes direct to EHAM from KEWR.
