June 24, 20223 yr Nothing bothering me, the 737 in MSFS is everything I'd hoped for. Like most I'd probably have rather the -800 was launched first but having a lot of fun with the -700, has actually made me venture across the pond in the sim where they're more abundant and recreate some Southwest and WestJet flights instead of my usual European hops! Looking forward to the 777 and whatever the mystery aircraft is. Lots of misleading statements about those over recent years, including many promises that they "were just around the corner"/"in testing" etc etc. That's why I take the company's MSFS promises with a large pinch of salt. June 24, 20223 yr Author So far. I'll step out of here. Posting some whishes and things that aren't positive to me and asking for others opinion obviously does upset a whole lot of people who feel forced to jump into this, start disrespectful posts and behave like child's instead of adults. I've tried keep up with this, but this is just not the place to be. The tone has changed. Lots of people here seem to have an issue with some feedback when it's not a positive one. Whish you all the best and happy flying. I'll recall some long known names already rejected here and I'll start seeing why. Marcus Edited June 24, 20223 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.

Crowd here can get rather prickly when PMDG is criticized. Don't take it to heart, it's good to see you around here mate. Cheers! LNAV in P3d has already been addressed; it was a simple misunderstanding. It has not been abandoned. Andrew, 777 was about $130. Then an expansion was released for another $77. There was a strong suggestion that the 777 cockpit upgrade was coming soon, so that's part of why I and a bunch of other people parted with what was a rather hefty fee for a new model. Now, PMDG might claim that it was an aspiration rather than a promise. After all, what is a promise? Have they promised us LNAV 2.0 etc for MSFS? They've said they're working on it, it's coming soon, same old story. I'm not sure it was ever promised in the actual product description at the time of sale, so that's the wiggle room if it suddenly becomes inconvenient. Note that I'm not actually salty about this. You just asked for an example, and that's a pretty relevant one. Not sure about the LNAV 2.0 for P3D being cleared up either, I'll believe it's really coming when I see it in the sim. GFO is a decent example of something that's been promised for years but never delivered, though in that case no money has changed hands. PMDG make good aircraft but their timelines are sometimes off by years, which risks a change of focus - as we've seen with P3D to MSFS - which might mean you never actually get the upgrades that were in testing/in beta/about to be released. Edit: I checked. Bobby R directly promised the 777 cockpit update: "A few have asked if we are including RainMaker in this update series- and we are not. That will come with a later update that involves a new VC model for the entire 777 product line." https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/106177-10feb21-pmdg-777-200er-status-and-release-progress-update Plenty of other people then talked about this, spent their money and waited... Still waiting... Rando should actually deliver on this, given it was directly stated that it was going to happen. I don't think you can state things that clearly and then just never deliver the product. My take: You can trust PMDG to deliver a solid product. You can't trust them to deliver it anything close to on schedule, no matter how many times they say "we're making rapid progress!". You can't trust them to deliver future features, even if promised directly by The Captain. June 24, 20223 yr PMDG owe you nothing, they make quality products, let's be fair, they are not forcing you to buy them. Specs: 11900K (5ghz), 64GB ram 3600mhz, RTX 3080 ti

PMDG owe you the things they promised at the time you made the purchase. That’s the agreement. They’re not doing you any favours by delivering what you paid for. If you charge over $200 for a sim plane, you better deliver what you said you would. Its the equivalent of never getting the cabin upgrade on the MSFS 737. And the “not forcing you to buy them” thing is also dumb. It would be different if you could get a refund, but that’s not an option here.
