Ugh, it looks and sounds the exact same as GSX does in P3D.

If its just another program you spend more time configuring than you do flying then whats the point?

You obviously don't have GSX for P3D, because if you did, you a) wouldn't ask "what's the point" and b) knew that the stuff with the pax walking line is entirely optional. It works perfectly out of the box with every airport.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I did not use GSX in P3D, but I am very interested in this for MSFS. I do much more airline flying now in MSFS then I did in P3D, so looking forward to adding this enhancement to my simming hobby 🙂

I'll grab GSX as long as it doesn't come with too much of a performance loss.

I had it in P34 and the amount of times I had to configure something because the marshaller was hidden amongst other things. Also the repetetive pushback, the outdated soundset that came with the pushback. Although the freeware community sorted the issues out, I expect a product to work out of the box without having to download multiple files to get it to work how I expect it to.

Ok on the side of development it would take a tremendous amount of work to do such things etc. Hopefully GSX in MSFS will bring new and much improved features to the table, I may purchase it but on the other hand all I want is just a realistically functional pushback system that I dont have to open multiple menus to get to work.

Personally, I'm really excited for GSX. I'd go as far as saying it's my most anticipated payware addon for MSFS.

Shouldn’t be any performance loss, just like there wasn’t in FSX or P3D. Besides the fact that when you’re using in, you’re generally parked at a gate anyway, pushing back or taxiing in. Not exactly scenarios where you’ll need 50 fps even if there was a few FPS loss.
