Proflight 2000 Emulator coming : realistic ATC for FSX and Fs9 ! !

Yea, the manual is probably still the original from the year 1999/2000. *.chm help files are a little outdated and cannot be viewed with Vista (and I believe XP as well). The devs should consider converting the guide to a more modern format (pdf?).Pat

No it's the PFE manual not the ProFlight one. There must be a problem with the download which I'll check.By the way, CHM files can be viewed on both XP and Vista... it's what I used for development and testing. CHM files are also much smaller in size than PDF's, but I'll take your point and see if we can offer a PDF too.CheersDave March

Morning I have listened to the sound files and some where clear and some not so BUT! that probably would be so in the real world ,i am very pleased they seem to be at a decent speed too in fact all sorts of speeds and different accents to EXCELLENT.If this program fulfills its promise its going to be a real shot in the arm for FS.If its to realistic i might be scared to try it:-) I might even have to break my credit card rule to get it.cheers AllAndyPS for someone who hates wading through long manuals,if you are ok using the FS ATC will i initially just be able to install, fly and understand?(The basics of course) I can then go over the fine detail at my leisure without having a mighty wading through it session when i have just purchased it and will be eager to fly it and try it.

LOL I think not everyone understood me well. ;) I like the different accents: that's realistic and very cool indeed! I wondered if you could or could not choose ONE voice for the pilot (accent or not) and keep that all over the world. It seems you can (which seems logical). I asked this because the sample in which I hear a pilot speak, I heard an accent. The ONLY thing I don't like from the samples is the way some words and number seem to be cut off or sound too different from each other or are pronounced too quick, making it hard to understand what was said. As if the guys got his tongue in a knot and a severe case of hickups. Or as if an amateur DJ tried to make a sentence out of different samples for the first time. I do not have ANY problems with the accents, because I LIKE those a lot: it makes it all a lot more realistic!

Hi Dave,I have problem with viewing the PFE manual downloaded from your site. I can see the table of content on the left panel but not the content on the right. Any idea?Cheers,Alex

I've got the same problem. I've tried opening the file directly and saving it locally and opening it. Hopfully Dave is on it and we'll have a manual to look at soon :)Regards,Mark

I was able to get it to work by doing as the poster above suggested and right-clicking into properties for the CHM and unblocking the security setting. Also, I noticed a couple spelling errors in it though. ;)Well, my CC is ready.............
