Maybe not all of the above, but "My Replacement Assistant Trucks" does a pretty good job at ground handling and refuelling, with animated handlers...and it just works.

But only with MSFS default functions, isnt'it? So you'll have the catering connected for one minute only and the stairs for like 30 seconds before they go away. What I really like about GSX is that stuff takes time. The more passengers the longer the baggage loading takes, the more fuel the longer the fuel loading takes etc. And stairs just stay connected.

EDIT: Also the MSFS models, especially stairs, look really comical in my opinion, but that might be my personal point of view. I'm not neutral because I loved GSX on P3D and loved all of its models and what it does etc.

Yes. Universal installer seems to be working fine but the installation of GSX is faulty. I somewhere read that this happens when some files aren’t missing. There should be 2 folders in the community folder (gsx pro and gsx world if I’m not mistaken) but I only have one and according to addon linker it‘s invalid. There are also no airports listed in the config menu where you can enable and disable jetways. 

Anyone with CTDs please try the following solutions and report back if it worked or didn't (and which step was the solution):

1. Delete your rolling cache. Try this first and see if it helps.

2. Delete your content.xml and let it rebuild. Try this as second and see if it helps.

3. Complete reinstall of GSX as a last resort:

- Uninstall everything using the FSDT Installer

- Uninstall the FSDT Installer itself from the Control Panel

- Go into your Addon manager folder (the one you chose for the installation) and remove the whole folder

- Run the installer again.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not affiliated with FSDT or their support, just a regular user. But I have a lot of experience with CTDs in MSFS and try to offer advice here.

On the FSDT forum in the newly created section for GSX MSFS it's 1254 posts overall since the creation of the section two days ago. Of those it's 31 posts in the CTD thread. I don't think it's much.

Also AFAIK you can try a demo version first for three airports and see if you have CTDs. People with CTDs are having them every flight seemingly, so you'll find out quick.
As for how to get the demo (if there is one): Download the FSDT universal installer https://www.virtualisoftware.com/update/FSDT_Universal_Installer.exe

Then you should be able to install GSX Pro (without activating it) and try it with three airports, one of them KLAX IIRC. At least that's how it worked on P3D.

EDIT: If there is no demo please @ me, so I can edit this out. I can obviously not try it for myself anymore since I already bought activated and installed the full version.

If you do NOT have the P3D version installed, go for it. The two do not seem to be playing nice with each other at the moment. Either way, go for it. Umberto isn't a drop it on them and walk away kind of guy. Updates, fixes, improvements, and new features will continue to come. FSDT is probably the best in that regard. I owned the P3D version for at least 6 years and I guarantee you that a month never went by without a fix, or a new feature.

GSX Pro is a good product. I'm quite impressed with what they have done with the new platform. With the latest SU10 update, the animations are stutter free. They look nice. The push back is the best. As long as the airport taxiways aren't messed up, GSX works great. I have had ZERO CTDs due to GSX.

It would be great if Asobo added the ability for animated objects to detect that they were about to collide with each other, or their environment. Without knowing that, FSDT had to pick a path and go with it,

Oh wow. I just set up a gate with the SafeGate TS-42 docking system. It's displaying the airport and gate information, my estimated time of departure, time to departure, and it tells you what GSX is doing (Catering, refueling, etc.).

I can see myself adding these to gates everywhere.

Finally, after the 5th or 6th reinstall it works!🍾
