I only have the demo so I cannot confirm but based on the first post of this thread, the usual German style houses are showing across some European countries.

Austin said a few times in this past year how some east european artist(s) was redoing the autogen, is that maybe coming later? Or is it already in this beta1?

If you are close enough to the ground, aside from short final, to worry about the architecture of square autogen buildings, you've departed realistic conditions.

I did not see it in this beta. I reiterate, the ground textures and Autogen are pretty poor. (If I knew that was coming or not is irrelevant, its a negative side to Xp12. Hence the pros and cons). A pro side is the smoothness of the sim. Its butter smooth.

Whilst also departing 2022. They can do so much BETTER! The poor autogen and ground textures of XP12 are awful.

I wasn't responding to someone who is known to be repeatedly highlighting their distaste for XP12, now was I? I was merely offering a suggestion as to why there are so many throwing shade at a beta product.

Which is why I specified that 3rd party work needs to go into 12. The user has to either do work, or spend money.

Con = you spend $60 for it and then you have to obtain terabyte drives and spend more money just for ground textures, in 2022...... No thanks.

Not necessarily. We won't know unless they try. But this is basically just XP11 ground textures in Xp12. They're ancient.

Much improved ground textures. Remember, XP opens the door for high res ortho. And it's free!

Well, not really. In some ways yes, the Ortho files are indeed free. However, one has to purchase the high capacity drives to store the Ortho. And for those of us who are unfortunate to not have high speed internet, I dread the download times of the Ortho.
