ChasePlane - verify licence ... again!

For the second time in the last couple of months and many times since I bought it I get a message saying my installation of ChasePlane cannot be verified and I need to go to Orbx Central to verify it.

Am I alone in getting this? I find it quite insulting that of all the scenery and aircraft I have bought this is the only product that requires this action on a semi-regular basis.

I've gotten this too.

It has done this for a while and it will continue to do this because development of ChasePlane has ceased.

If development has ceased why the requirement to validate?

I’ve raised a ticket and have complained quite vociferously about this. It stands alone in requiring repeated validation.

I would encourage everyone getting this issue to raise a ticket and complain. I wouldn’t mind if there was a reason given but there isn’t. ORBX being somewhat arrogant.

Happened to me often; the thing is, there was no reason for it to occur.  It was just so random. 
 

Was there anything official about ChasePlane development ceasing?

There has been no updates to it for a very long time. At first I thought this action was necessary because of a new version. That is not the case.

P3D4.5 + Chaseplane v1.2.58 S. I've never seen this message, software works a treat everyday.

I also get this message on a regular basis. I don't use P3D as often as in the past, but almost everytime I do, this message pops up and I have to fire up ORBX Central and "verify". I guess that's their "piracy protection". I haven't complained about it and just accepted it, but as always it's the paying customer that struggles with annoyances like this 😉

Yes, I get this occasionally...

For me, at least once a month, I have to log in to Orbx Central. It's like it refuses my automatic log in on purpose.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Yeap I get this probably once a month too
