FSLTL vs PSXT

the truck push-back, the in-game ATC and MFD traffic integration that FSLTL provides.

FSLTL doesn't provide any of that, that is all through the AI engine from MSFS.

Most of the problems with Asobo live traffic and FSLTL will be solved over time, certainly the slow taxi speeds and rotating aircraft will be.

Those issues have been there since before FS2004 and through every version of P3d. I wouldn't hold my breath.

For me there is nothing more realistic and immersive available than PSXT. I set the monthly cost in relation to every single avoided immersion breaking stunt of default ai traffic (I guess you normally encounter several of them in every session).

The only real downside of PSXT for me at the moment is that the traffic is not recognized by the Fenix A320.

I wonder if the developers are in contact to each other regarding this issue.

I have -again- post a message at the discord server. From what I understand it is of a lower priority, they have too many high priority issues to fix.

That is the often the problem with software developed by a group of people, too many design flaws and bugs slip in. PSXT is a (7 years) one man project 😉. I know all in's and outs.

That's a shame. We should push them a little.

So you are complaining that the Fenix team wont prioritise helping a traffic subscription services make money? Weak.

Given Nico's own program is freeware, I'd say your attempt at trolling is weak, as is your comprehension of what was actually said.

Given Nico links to the payware required to drive his addon as advertised, (at $179.99/year) I'd suggest your comprehension of what is actually involved to get it to work as intended is weak.

This is misinformation.

I use PSXT + RT and I pay  € 89,99/year for my RT license (there is also € 9,98/month).

There is RT Pro version that is more expensive and has more features. But the Standard version is enough to see all Live Traffic.

Better read a product page correctly before posting untrue and weak statements…

Hi @kiek

is anyone using PSXT with RealTraffic - & only using FSLTL AI models?

& using SU11 Beta,

what will be my AI experience?

if this configuration will be OK, I’m fully ready to get a 3 month RealTraffic Standard license - to check it out for myself…

(not prepared to download AIG models - FSLTL models only as they are true 1Click)

Your info is wrong, at my site it is clearly stated that you need a standard license, not a professional license.

Furthermore, I'm only giving one of the major requirements for my freeware PSXT to get it to work....

In the Manual you will also find this:

1.1      System Requirements

·         Windows 10 or later

I guess you will be you saying I'm helping Microsoft to make money (sorry Win 7 users) ? 🙂

Hi Nico @kiek,

I proceeded & installed your PSXT with 3 months RealTraffic with FSLTL models,

& am very impressed with the more accurate Live Traffic,

thanks!

Hi all and Nico,

I started to use PSXT and Realtraffic (and AIG models) this month (I went for the one month Euro 9,95 subscription to test) and I am blown away by its realism and the amount of traffic around me.

Real pitty that Fenix does not depict the live traffic (yet?). With the PMDG  737 it is really exciting to be on an approach and see all the traffic on the STAR/appoach on the radar in front of you (and from the cockpit window if the plane is closer by!). The realism as compared to what is actually going on on FlightRadar24 is amazing.

To me this is one of those add-ons that has really upped the game to a new level of realism. Thanks Nico for making this availbale to the community for free! I can imagine that for some the 89 Euro subsription fee is a lot of money, but to me it is worth every penny. When in doubt, do what I did and go for the one month subscription of Euro 9,95 to make up your mind and decide whether it works for you.

best wishes, Marco

Thank you for providing details of the cheaper plan @GSalden. I stand corrected.

The value proposition for the service, even at 89.99/year is obviously one for each individual to evaluate. It clearly is the most accurate live traffic solution but for me, paying more for a subscription in 1 year than you would to own the base sim itself seems excessive.

(and yes, the same subscription model is used by Navigraph so this is not unique).

Value is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
