Apparently for me default real world weather is not loading with a flight.

After loading the flight a notification window states it was not possible to update real weather, but afterwards I can manually force the transfer.

Main Simulation Rig:

Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, 1 TB & 500 GB M.2 nvme drives, Win11.

Lenovo TB310FU 9,5" Tablet for Navigraph and some available external FMCs or AVITABs

wow, just wow.

I'm not sure exactly what changed, maybe just switching to lvl17 ortho, maybe there is some art update on the trees (maybe autumn just set in since my last flight)

But that's the first flight I've had in XP12 where everything just felt right

Looking at the known bug list, it appears to be getting shorter, note the work on the clouds and performance tuning are in progress.

  • Incomplete or missing features in Alpha/Early Access:
    • Master-external visual networking
    • New XPLM APIs
    • Airbus A330 FMC
  • In progress features:
    • Tuning lighting & fog
    • LIT textures
    • VR holodeck lighting
    • Far trees don’t look great
    • Better cloud shapes, especially cirrus
    • Performance tuning
  • XPD-12879 Wake turbulence broken for 3rd party integrations.

Indeed,

it is probably Placebo, and me enjoying my flights in XP12 although being just short hops in the Toliss A319, Zibo 738 or FF 757-200/300 and A320U.

Weather depiction and even the effects is good, performance great & stable, SimHeaven helps a LOT...

Meanwhile I am following the various hints Murmur and Alexis are sending Austin in order to get further detail in some interesting areas that although already covered by X-Plane's FM could receive additional tunning 🙂

It's growing on me to the level of not having had the chance to start any of my two oher flightsims 🙂

I am sure they are aware it as others who have reported already. The issue may get corrected once the anti aliasing issue gets resolved, that's just my guess. I have not look at it yet but mSparks appears to be happy with it. So I will let him elaborate on it if he cares to. In the meantime I am going to take a flight in VR and see if I can see any changes.

Very reported, but never in a way they could recreate, about 3 days ago Ben fed back he had a reasonably good idea of the cause, I'm not sure if there is a blind fix, a tested fix or any kind of fix.

What's most important if you see it, is to get the steps required to make it always happen.

I couldn't make it happen with manual weather.

The only time I saw it was flying with real weather, after about 20 or 30 minutes flight, as I got within a few hundred feet of the top/bottom of a cloud layer - but I never actually got this to happen again even in B7 (not least I'm sure because the weather cleared so I wasn't getting clouds with real weather).

Also I'm talking about the bug that visually looked like

Henceforth known as shiney disco balls.

Not sure if you are talking about the same thing.

anti aliasing isn't that great either

reasonably confident remaining issues there have nothing to do with anti aliasing, and the only way to fix the remaining aliasing compliants is for the user to either reduce the render distance slider or buy a display with a resolution where far off detail takes up more than one or two pixels.

Anyone else get this strange shaking of the aircraft in external view, and flashing like lightning, across the instrument panel (Any aircraft) But was flying the Toliss A321 this time. (XP12 ) Version.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Same here ! Flying C172 and Toliss 319 show extrem shaking in any outside view while the cockpit perspective is pretty normal. I also have the flashes in the cockpit sometimes and suddenly blurry clouds. Only Simheaven Europe and America for xp12 ;no other addons. The Performance is fine and stable, hope they can fix it because its a joy to fly this sim.
