November 3, 20223 yr Hello, i have a 13900k, with Z690 -P DDR4 3000Mhz MotherBoard, if you want it's possible make a test for you. I have a RTX3080 (526.47) Fresh install on WIN11 22h2 no WU in FS2020 LIRF- DLSS Quality - TLOD200 - OLOD 200 Edited November 3, 20223 yr by Edouard Roger CEO Lun'Air Virtual Compagny VATSIM/IVAO : https://lunair.fr/en/
November 3, 20223 yr I think we should be able to put together some benchmarks. Will be rough estimates though as we cannot adjust for the different hardware configurations the way the tech youtubers can. I have some time this weekend. I think using flight replay is a great idea. I'm a bit rusty on the airliners though as it has been a few months (amazing how quick knowledge "disappears"). I managed to start the 737-700 yesterday but I don't feel confident to do a flight yet until I practice a bit. The A320 I can handle pretty well though. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I'm a hard-core simmer™ 😅 But you're right though. Would be good though to get at least one approach into one of the major hubs like KLAX. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Ah yes. Frame times are very important to me. Latency not so much. Trying to get re-acquainted with the 737 now and I keep swearing at the FMC. It's super-awkward configuring the aircraft settings without an EFB. Sigh. I've been spoiled with the FBW and the Fenix. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

No that's fine, no worries 🙂 I know, captain can be a bit OCD at times. And referring to himself in 3rd person is never a good sign 🙂 But believe it or not - he managed to get the bird down relatively safely (it wasn't pretty though) at KLAS rwy 26L. Pardon? I thought you said 480Hz@4K. My lord. But what about the latency?? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
November 3, 20223 yr I am not sure I can comment any further, the forum-hijacker-police is watching, but you could still sell your 4090 before they become available in 4 weeks 😀, and they will have FSR3, will have to see how that compares to DLSS3. this will be another exciting weeks of benchmarking and good to finally have a strong competitor to NVidia. $ 899 and $ 999 in another 4 weeks. about half the price of the 4090 !!! https://www.theverge.com/2022/11/3/23438373/amd-rdna-3-gpu-event-live-stream-time-how-to-watch Edited November 3, 20223 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

Competition is great. Hopefully it'll force nVidia to reduce the exorbitant prices eventually. No way I'm going to sell my 4090 though 🙂 I was however able to sell my 3090 today. Please don't ask me about the price - it still hurts. On topic, I'm getting very good performance in the 737 (with my 12900 I should add). It's very easy on the frames - the Black Square King Air seems to be a tad heavier, for comparison. Just did an approach to FT's KLAS with fairly high FSLTL settings. I was supposed to do a CapFrameX benchmark of the whole flight but forgot to press the capture button... too busy handling the aircraft. November 3, 20223 yr And yet here in Canada people are still paying over 1k for 3090 ex mining cards. Some people are really stupid.

Though If in FS20 differently to other games, likes so much cache memories, you could try to disable e-cores and test, and maybe create a setting in BIOS only for FS20. With a 12900k I didn´t notice-feel it any better.
