It's ISLC, the app to purge the memory. Watch the last video he posted.

I don't speak English, what does it say on the video? should the app stay in the background during the flight? Or just press start and cut before running MSFS ?

When you have 64 go of ram I m not sure this software could change something about stutter during night approach

Turning off the rolling cache (it defaults to on after an update) and using DX11 improved matters considerably for me.

No it does not, at last for me..

My rolling Cache is always off, since ages now and never changed after an update.

Well to clarify, for me the rolling cache certainly turned itself on after opting in or out of a beta. Maybe not after a standard update, I don't know. as I've always joined a beta when available.

Did not see that behavior but will keep an eye on it.

The most irritating thing for me is that with each MSFS update the GF Experience filters are reset and lost.

I have taken pics of the settings so I can apply them again…..

That's strange, mine only reset when I install a new Nvidia driver. I also took pictures of the settings to make it easier to get the same settings again.

On a flight recently in the A310, performance was absolutely horrendous towards the end of the flight (KSFO-CYVR). Main thread was as high as the nineties (!) and fps in the sub-5 range. That meant around 10 with frame generation, lol. Not sure exactly what happened as I’ve had other flights recently of the same length with no issues.

I did however not quit the sim between sessions. First session was CYVR-KSFO in the Fenix. Then I entered the menu to set up another flight in the A310. Not sure if that had something to do with it?

I think this is a A310 issue, i see same thing like this at some flights, this plane's tendenz is to produce some stutters here an there more often..
