Right now this is the main issue for me and sometimes it's random and unpredictable in that there may not be a lot of traffic activity and yet the frame rate impact can approach over 20%. November 26, 20223 yr Did y'all experiment with an empty Community folder? I emptied it and the stutters at approach were gone. The culprit seems to be Manudesign powerligns (at least the April 22 version, I might try the newest one later).
November 26, 20223 yr I have this stuttering as well. From my tests, it seems to be AI traffic related. The reason your night flight was smooth is because there was less traffic to load. The more traffic at an airport, the worse my stutters have been. Turned AI traffic off, its smooth on approach again. It sucks to have to fly in an empty world, but its something asobo needs to figure out.
November 26, 20223 yr Author If I fly at late dawn, daytime and early dusk then I can make 3-4h flights without any issues. Including AI traffic. I'm not on beta - but yes turning off all Air Traffic (Live and AI) has helped smooth things out tremendously for me.....I'm finding I dont miss that much myself......but still saddened I have to turn off features to get what I had in SU10.

November 27, 20223 yr Author Today I did 2 flights in the dark from Amsterdam to Naples. Giuseppe ( Prosim user ) pointed out that after testing he did a few months ago he thought that it might have to do with the effect files used for lights. So I disabled all external lights after take off and turned the needed lights on just a few minutes before touchdown. Result : no stutters at approach Anyone suffering from this could try the same and see if it helps. It might be that the ac effect files for external lights are causing a framerate drop over time. November 29, 20223 yr I noticed the FPS degradation last night for the first time. I was flying from CYEG to MMUN with AI and addon scenery at MMUN and I was flying the PMDG 738. On the approach there is noting but mangroves, and Cancun is pretty light on FPS even with AI. I've landed at MMUN a number of times, and I haven't had any issues. The only thing new was REX Accuseason, so I'll investigate that further.
