What announcement are you most excited about for AMD's CES

Recommended Posts

I recently picked up the 13900k for a future build but I may return it and wait to see how the AMD plays out in 2020 with a 4090.

A sagacious move!

Speaking of cases for a new rig -- I have this old Silverstone TJ09 Temjin case from circa 2008 laying around -- I was thinking of building the new rig in it -- but now I'm not so sure.   Do you guys think I should bother trying to re-purpose it?  I did mod it for a 360 radiator about 10 years ago.

For now I'm probably going to keep the 3080ti-tye-T-I.

The TJ09 is huge...I'm sure it could fit a 4090.

Anyway, the front headers are USB 2.0 and I'd want to mod those out.  It may be more trouble than it's worth...

Mine uses a Corsair elite AIO. And a huge case with 10 fans. Runs around 25c idle and 55-60 under load in msfs. If I stress test it, it hits 74c

Humm, and what's the 'room' temperature ?   This has a lot to do with the CPU's temperature under any given condition.

Nice.  Open the doors and windows to get more fresh air.  And your CPU will be even happier.. and you will feel as fresh as a cold Pepsi. 😜

lol.. don't freeze to death.
