January 7, 20233 yr Greetings, I need to update my Milviz 310 installation to SP1. Can someone please tell me if I have to delete the original installation first or just run the SP1 update installer. Thank you, Chuck B
January 7, 20233 yr Technically I don't think so, but I do anyway just to be sure I get all the new files. Regards,Pivoti9-10900k * 64Gb Ram * MSI RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio * Steel Series Arctis Pro Wireless Headset * Win11 Home x64 * Beam ET * TM Warthog Combo, Honeycomb Alpha & Saitek Pro-Rudders
January 7, 20233 yr How's the 310 ? Can you recommend it ? Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
January 7, 20233 yr In my eyes the best twin ga out for msfs atm. The 414 is much more hyped but the 310 has a lot more immersion to offer with complete wear and tear that the 414 is missing completely. And it can be a beast on landings if you don't watch the speed. A lot of quirks simulated like proper rw behaviour on fuel pumps and tanks. Me like it a lot. Just doing a VA cup tour with it and enjoying a lot. Cheers T Edited January 7, 20233 yr by Torsen
January 7, 20233 yr Thx Torsen! How's it under critical engine failure ? The wear and tear consist of various parts of the engine that can lead to critical engine failure if not maintained and used properly And you can set the rate of occurence in addition for random failures
January 8, 20233 yr I read this thread the other day, and decided to park the Fenix for awhile, and get back to GA flying. I am on my second flight with the C 310, and it took me awhile to shake the cobwebs out of my head, and figure out how everything works again. This is really a nice aircraft, and this and the Kodiak are my favorite GA aircraft to fly. The PMS 750 really adds alot to it, also. I turned on icing in MSFS, since I had it off for the Fenix, and on takeoff from KALB I immediately got windshield icing. Turned on the deicer, and the windscreen cleared right up. 🙂 Edited January 8, 20233 yr by Bobsk8
January 8, 20233 yr Very interested in the 310 too. Does it run external programs like eg the Fenix or the Maddog or is it running within MSFS? Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

January 8, 20233 yr Good plane, for sure. Just wish it didn't take several months for that service update but I really enjoy so far. I have not flown this as often as the 414 but really appreciate the detail into the wear/tear even though I don't use it often. It's fun "cleaning" the plane after a long beach trip to the Oregon coast. There are no external programs. Just fly it from MSFS like any other plane. All internal logic is in the WASM module.
