Live Weather

Featured Replies

On the US East server (auto) and no clouds to be found with live weather on. When selecting my arrival, KLAS, says no Metar available. Anyone getting this? Toggling live weather on/off does nothing.

Update, so METAR is available and shows it raining at KLAS. The sim is clear skies and sunny. Such a joke.

I am flying in the Northeast US right now, and the weather is spot on. Very cloudy, and overcast.

No issues here either

Tried switching servers?  Flew into Socal this afternoon and weather was fairly correct.  This happens from time to time.  Either try that or loggin out and logging back in.

No issues here, using US East Server, flying in South America now.

Thanks guys, I had to restart MSFS and the weather showed back up like it was supposed to be. First time I recall the live weather just going haywire on me since I got into MSFS on October 30th.  I cannot switch servers as it is greyed out for me as I have that online specific setting shut off because I fly online with Vatsim.

Sometimes a hiccup in the server connection at start can cause the weather not being updated.

I had this issue on Friday.  Flew from Reyjavik to London.  Southern England was pretty much overcast on Friday, yet, the skies were clear in MSFS using live weather.

I have noticed sometimes (very rare for me) , it can take a few minutes for the weather to "kick" in. So waiting some minutes can also trigger it back..

I waited from when I was abeam Birmingham - should have been overcast from there.   After shutdown, waited another 30 mins.  No change.  I also swapped servers.
