0x87E10BC6 error when starting

Featured Replies

As of today when starting MSFS, I get an error saying 0x87E10BC6 then the sim crashes.  Any idea what that can be from?  I was able to get into MSFS twice earlier but my Fenix wasn't loading as well.  But lately when starting, I get this error.  Any ideas?  Thanks so much!

Check to make sure your xbox app is up to date, I just updated it, loaded up MSFS, started a flight in KSAN, no issues so far.

Where do you check to see if it is up to date?  It looks like i am on 2301.1001.5.0 but it doesn't have a date or it doesn't appear as though there is anywhere in the app to update.

Does anyone know how to install MSFS on a pc without X Box

From Flightsimulator.com "The team is aware and investigating this issue."

Wow, just double clicked MSFS icon and got this message too, same error code in title. Had three coronaries, restarted the PC tried again, same error and hopped on AVSIM immediately.

My guess is that the servers are overloaded with the downloading of the New Zealand world update.  It's already February 23rd in that part of the world.
