• XPD-13881 – Missing Pipeline with Thranda C208.
• XPD-13878 – Crash on startup with Zink and Nvidia GPUs.
• XPD-13870 – Black sun when using a GeForce 900 series GPU.
• XPD-13890 – Zink needs to be loaded early to intercept anyone injecting GL early.
• XPD-13889 – Zink needs to disable ReShade even with CLI opt in.
• XPD-13888 – iphone/XXX datarefs exposed to desktop third parties.
• XPD-13886 – Zink doesn’t detect when the system OpenGL library was already loaded.
• XPD-13884 – Zink doesn’t correctly turn off after failing on startup.
• XPD-13883 – Zink crashes on startup with GeForce 10xx series cards.
• XPD-13887 – sim/atc/user_aircraft_transmitting crashes if read too early.

What exactly is Zink for and should I enable it with my RTX 3060 Ti ?

Some NV cards might benefit performance-wise, but I haven't heard of anyone with a definitive status. Other than the startup issues described in the release notes above, I don't think it has hurt anyone on NV.

I was hoping to see a fix for distant clouds visible through nearby clouds, and the associated problems with terrain/cloud merge.  This is the issue starting to grind with me, especially as the lighting and plugins like VisualXP are amazing.

This update solved my loading problems with Zibo 738 🙂

Now I can, again, load a flight directly with the Zibo 738 X without XP12 hanging on startup!

I started XP12.
Got a screen saying there was an update.
Got Updated to 12 04 R1
Still cannot start ZIBO directly. 
I get a freeze “Preparing world”.

Edit : Waited several minutes and got a VULCAN device loss error??

Note:

I have no idea what zink is?

Downloaded ZIBO737 Original product for XP12 and the v4 update.

Still cannot start ZIBO directly. 
I get a freeze “Preparing world”.

Still have to load the Cessna aircraft first then Zibo737.

Hi,

This may not be the same issue, but I developed the vulkan device loss error on my server computer about a month ago. Today that 3090 card just died.

do you have an AMD cpu by chance?

I have tested XP12 and Zibo737 on two PC’s and get the same results.
Have to start Cessna first then switch to Zibo737.

Intel i9 9900k on one PC has Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti 11GB
i9 11900KF on a second PC has Nvidia 3070 8GB

Could you try with Zink enabled in the Graphics options ?
