March 5, 20233 yr Author Yeah, I think I can squeeze out very high settings at 1080p - and probably go to 1440p at high settings. There are videos of simmers using the cards at 4k with acceptable performance.

March 5, 20233 yr My RTX3070 will do 1440p at ultra at 45 fps. A 3060ti ought to do 1440p at ultra somewhere in the mid 30 FPS .
March 5, 20233 yr Author My PC entered its 9th year of service, and the harddrive was starting to make weird clanky sounds, plus the fans weren't all that anymore. So decided to retire the old lady. As I said, I don't need to play games at ultra settings, and the 3060ti seems to offer a good balance between price and performance. Plus, I can now finally play games that I bought off of Steam during sales but could never install or play, like Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, DeathLoop, etc.

March 5, 20233 yr Even with a 5800X3D, RTX3080, 32 GB RAM and a 2TB NVME, I can't max out everything at 1440 with a lot of addon scenery. I like to run with a LOD of 300 but sometimes need to reduce LOD below 200, buidings LOD below 150 and Render Scaling down to 90 with some payware airports and extensive addon photosceneries (especially when they have not been well optimised). Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
