May 6, 20233 yr I'm a bit out of touch with cases (but need to get up to speed quickly for a new build) but it seems like this unit is quite a bit wider than my current one. 3 inches wider in fact. Is 274mm or 11 inches approx, the norm for current generation Mid ATX cases? Edited May 6, 20233 yr by cowpatz Added text Cheers Steve Hall
May 6, 20233 yr I can't speak highly enough of the CableMod 90 degree GPU power adapter, which allowed me to tidy up my cabling and be able to put my case cover on. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

The software that comes with the Gigabyte liquid cooler I have allows you to have a custom image shown on its display so I put my dog's face on it 😄 I should also add that I have replaced the pigtail PCIe power cables going to the GPU from the PSU that came with my Corsair power supply with this. Much cleaner cable run and can deliver 600W to the GPU without having to worry about melting pigtail connectors. June 15, 20232 yr @Sethos Great build. I build a system similar to yours and wanted to ask you which CPU cooler you went with. I am running a DeepCool LT720 and it is to loud. I already return it and I’m looking for a good/quiet replacement. I was think an Arctic Cooler Liquid Freezer II 360 AIO or an EK Nucleus Dark 360. Yours looks like a NZXT cooler with Noctua fans.

Yours looks like a NZXT cooler with Noctua fans. Thanks. Using the Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE LCD XT. I originally wanted an air cooler but wanted something that fits into that 'wood' look and the Noctua NH-D15 was my choice but that fan offset due to RAM would drive my OCD nuts. Most AIO pump heads also look kind of ghastly, so I opted for that subtle-ish LCD screen that would allow me to put what I wanted on it. The mechanical pump whine can be heard but it's not bad and the performance is in line what you'd expect from a 240 AIO. Though it's expensive and nothing special, so unless the LCD screen is something you desperately want, not sure it's something I'd recommend specifically. I might see what Noctua's next-generation NH-D15 has to offer and switch to that. June 15, 20232 yr At Computex case manufactures are now catering for this and airflow is a big thing with the CPU`s and GPU`s generating more heat to gain performance. Even the CPU cooler can be overcome by too much internal case temperature. Raymond Fry.
