It fits, but just barely.  The way I plan to set it up im sure it will cool fine. 2 140mm fans under it pulling air in, two more on the front, three 120's on top, one in the back, and a 240mm rad for the cpu pushing air out from the side.

I use a bandbox PADO W3 and I feel it's as small as it could get (as I also need some space for HDD), still a little bigger than the old one I got for 1080. The size on spec is 450*450*210mm

It seems they brand under AIGO overseas and use different naming, so I'm not sure if it's available in your country...

My MSI 4080 fit nicely, while there is some stress on it's power line when closing side panel, but so far no issue.(maybe a 90degree adopter could help) With 360AIO on top I can't fit 3 12cm fan in the front so I put one on the side, so far the heat dissipation is also no issue (again, for 4080 rather than 90)

The only issue is the space under my graph card is a little bit too small for the card support came with MSI even at it's lowest config, so I just cut a little piece of packaging foam pushed into there to relief some pressure on my pciE slot.

Better than being 1mm too long. 😉

The Meshify 2 is my preferred case so far. Whilst I agree it can accommodate the 3090 you have to be careful about the combination of case and card. The Asus Strix is 2" longer than the Nvidia FE which is going to be the one I'll request from Chillblast.

One thing about the FE card *is* in fact size.  Some of the larger cards cool better simply because they're larger -- bigger surface area, bigger sinks.

None of this is a huge issue though, as I'm finding reports that all of the 4090's are generally about the same, and running cooler and are a die shrink from the 3000 series.  Just all-around superior technology.

I'm giving serious consideration to the Gigabyte Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 card.  Yes it is longer (340mm) than the FE card (304mm).  But it cools a little better and reportedly has very little coil whine.  It's also about $200 cheaper than some of the other 4090 cards.

If I was having an i7-13900K with its power draw I’d be concerned. But the AMD runs cooler so the smaller FE card shouldn’t be a problem.

Meshify 2 and Gigabyte 4090 -- just barely fits, I mean really snug at the back, but it does fit.

The Gigabyte is 340mm long. The Nvidia FE is 302mm. See my post on page 1 showing the length of each.

The max space available in the Meshify 2 is 476mm. Seems strange it’s such a tight fit.

I have a Fractal 7 mid tower Case with a 360 Rad at the top and three 140 custom front fans plus 140 exhaust custom fan, from the rear backplate to the rear of the front fans 17inch- 430mm , ASUS RTX 4090 TUF one of the longest 348mm that`s 92mm spare or more than 3 inches.

According to the internet, the 4090 is 304 mm x 137 mm x 61 mm.
I have a 3080ti, which is 285 mm x 112 mm x 40 mm

This case definitely accommodates it. Meshify 2 — Fractal Design (fractal-design.com)

That being the case, OP Ray should be able to use a microATX form factor if they want, because that card will fit my Fractal Design Mini C with the front fans in (max length is 315mm). Unfortunately although the case can accomodate, the wallet can't, I'll be on an RTX 4070 or 4060 or maybe a 3070Ti.

Having said all that, the link Ray posted shows most 4090s as being 340-355mm long, which definitely wouldn't fit an mATX build.

I’ve never read of anyone using a micro ATX case for the 4090.

I’m not sure what’s the difference between Micro ATX and Mini ITX but there are some creative people out there.
Check this build out.
