Finally !

It’s not an oficial feature but works very nice. It’s an easy to use and powerful app, With this app you can not only interact with the MCDU in a browser but also view many other displays (PFD, ND, UPPER_ECAM, LOWER_ECAM, SIS, Quartz displays) - all in real-time. You can easily control and view your aircraft's instruments from any of your devices on your home network, simply
scanning the QR code in the app.

Fantastic!  Been waiting for this.

YES!

Imagine what this sim would look like if all these brilliant minds uploading to flightsim.to worked at Asobo/Microsoft?

Probably like what the Working Title guys have contributed 🙂

Yes and no. WT is a perfect example what happens if an exceptional good team meeting the other side. In the meantime there is a big difference in perception between endusers and devs. The latter are not that happy to say in mild words 😉

But not hijacking this thread. That free app is looking really good. Will give it a test...

Cheers T.

Brilliant ... but unfortunately due to the detaching of the MCDU screen inGame my frames went down and I have a stutterfest 😒

too bad, works flawlessly otherwise

I have no noticeable frame rate hit on DX12. I also have 5 other instruments popped out on two other screens. Medium-ish system...

Tried popping out a display in DX12 but it's the same as DX11. There is about a 10-15 fps reduction on my system.

Developer KisbAlt comment:

” …. Sadly this is a known issue with MSFS. Hope the devs will resolve it with a Sim Update. You could try using DirectX 12, some reported that the performance hit was smaller, but for me it doesent really makes a difference.“ ….

Just ran across this mod. Is this still the mod to use or are there other ones by now you can recommend?

i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

I tried this and it kept crashing my sim,

The displays no longer show when popped out even if this addon is not running

Anone know how to revert back? I removed the WASM folder from my community folder and restarted the sim but the displays do not show anymore when popped out

Unfortunately,  there are still few options for remote mcdu in the Fenix A320, but to mention one:

It is actually written in the instructions that I should have read thoroughly before posting LOL

The pop out windows are not visible after using the app: This app moves the pop-out windows to a hidden away location to make sure it doesen't block the view of the main sim window. MSFS saves this location so the next time you are popping out windows it will automatically place it to this hidden away location. To bring the windows back and save the visible location do the following: Load up the fenix and the remote MCDU app, and pop out the instruments. On the web-app click on the restore windows button which should make the pop-outs visible on your main screen where MSFS is running. Exit to the main menu but don't close the pop-out windows. Now MSFS should remember the visible on-screen pop out window locations, but it is important to exit to the main menu while the pop out windows are still opened and visible on your main screen.
