No word on the CTD when using Geforce Experience freestyle filters? This would be much more important to know, never had another DX12 crash in the last weeks unless I use those filters...

I'm using them in every flight with DX12 and no CTDs. Go figure.

Edit: Perhaps it's a certain filter causing the issue that you are using and I am not.

I was having CTDs even in DX11 immediately after installing the last, reverted to the 531.79 some weeks ago, problem cured. I have to test this.

It‘s still in the know issues: „Applying GeForce Experience Freestyle filters cause games to crash [4008945]“

So apparently, this issue hasn‘t been fixed. But not everyone seems to be affected.

No DLSS fix yet? Or is that for Asobo to fix?

Reminds me, Jorg did say they were talking to Nvidia ages ago about a "mask" or something over the Garmin screens so that they're not so blurred, wonder if that is now pushed back for MSFS2024...

I still wonder if we'll ever see a fix for the stray, awful textures that turn up randomly with DX12.

This^. DLSS gives me 16 frames more compared to TAA and that is HUGE for VR, going from something like 43 to 59 while not really losing any quality in picture. If only the screens weren't so blurred...

I’m willing to wager DX12 non beta and DLSS improvements will not be in MSFS2020 but slated for MS2024. Hope I’m wrong….

I usually check the Nvidia reddit before installing a driver to see if there are any issues. Unfortunately they are still in protest mode it seems.

I don't have CTD and always use GFE filters in DX12 and DX12.
