give me thoughts of salt lake city by PacSIM

Curious what u think of Salt Lake City Airport by PacSim.  Have a good feeling I will be buying it, seems very detailed just curious on performance as well.

i77OOk 1080ti , poor FPS for me. 90% of other payware sceneries are ok. That's using LVFR statics as well.

That is unfortunate to hear. It seems there is more that needs to be learned about optimizing scenery for MSFS. I will hold off on this too then.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

I have an i7 8700k and a 2080. KSLC performs much better than ini builds KLAX on my system.

Very nice scenery but it does seem a bit hard on performance in certain areas.  I noticed significant stutters when approaching the terminal from 16R/34L area (used with PMDG 737/Fenix 320/FBW 32N).  It was mostly when looking toward the terminal areas and this was using FSLTL but I keep that at a pretty "light" setting.  Not a deal killer IMO, it is a very nicely done airport and beautiful area to fly.

Jetways are bleh but everything else is good and worth a purchase.

The low fps is caused by the noolaero-module (guidance system), that, if you do not installed it, the fps are great, at least on my system....

The scenery is great!

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

It’s great on my end but I do have a RTX 4090. Just needs an updated GSX file but it’s a really great and needed scenery.

I like it. Didn't notice any performance problems but my PC is fairly high spec.

Is that a CP Air DC-10 as your avatar picture?  That is the kind of thing I desperately want to see in the sim.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
