Lots of new flying toys on the way

Featured Replies

Quite a few new toys coming over the next few months.

FBW A380 (Free)

PMDG 777

Fenix V2 A320/A319/A321

Headwind V2 A330-900/-800/-300 (Free)

Not to mention a new sim platform when the existing one would easily have sufficed for a number of years still

In my 25 years of simming, I can't actually remember a better time.

Isn't that sweet ? !

Not doing the airliners, I wonder whether there is a life after the Comanche 😄 ?

The only one I am looking for at that time is the Milviz SR 71. Curious of what they could do to respect as faithfully as possible the real bird. The lead designer is, I think, the one who did the C310 so it might be quite good !

Me neither. Even the small stuff, like doing circuits and bumps around ChicoMick's Duxford in Ant's Tiger Moth on a sunny afternoon. It's the simulator I always wanted. 🙂

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Absolutely unprecedented times... let's not also forget from the MS/Asobo roadmap: SU 13 (Aug/Sep), AAU 3 (Dec), November "surprise", end-of-Aug announcement from MS/Asobo around gamescom, WU 15 (Oct), etc

You mention the FBW A380, has there been any recent updates around that?

Not really.  But I really hope it'll be this year.

"over the next few months"????

Plenty of groundless speculation here. Many of these projects have morphed into very long projects. I wouldn't be suprised if many aren't released until after MSFS 2024 is released.

In the mean time plenty of junk is released on the marketplace weekly!

Allow me to add to that list:

JustFlight Fokker 70/100 and inibuilds A300. Maybe not in the "next few months" but probably not much longer than that either.

Maybe lighten up a bit.

Some people simply wake up in the morning with a negative attitude...

2024 will be indeed a hot simmer year. Hotter than now for sure.

I'm waiting for Blacksquare's Turbine Duke quite anxiously. For the past month of so, I've been doing a world tour with the Baron (BKSQ version) and honestly I've never had this level of enjoyment.  Great sim times indeed!

But we will receive many word salad updates to make up for it.
