A2A Comanche Update today.

The starting number of DL's in the store is 10. When applying the updates, they should not be subtracted from the total you start with in the store. The only time you should see your number of store Dl's drop is if you re-DL the entire aircraft again.

A suggestion might be to save the original DL file, then you would only need to DL it that one time. Worst case scenario if you use all of your DL's for some reason, is to drop Lewis a note over on our forum and he typically takes care of those issues incredibly fast.

Well… no hanging fuzzy dice though 😏

How did you know I like them?  It's no problem though.  I will swap them over from my Wilga!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Imagine a minute that Neuman announces that all the default aircraft are to be retrofiitted with fuzzy dice ! THAT would a nice surprise !

I installed freshly 1.1 yesterday but didn't try a cold start. Upgraded to 1.2 today. Didn't have antivirus on when it was installed (actually I don't use antivirus at all).

Did you wait long enough to see if the fuel pressure rises? Since the update I find it takes a lot longer for the needle to move - especially if the fuel is set to the tip tanks.

I cant find this "check for updates" file, what's the exact path to the folder?

Just worked from start menu, ran as administrator

Do a search on your drive for A2A Simulations. Default it is somewhere in the Roaming folder. That is how i found it.

I've created a shortcut for the update exe and pinned it to my start menu for future, saves me hunting it down next time.

The updater shortcut should already be in the Windows start menu guys, in the "A2A Simulations" folder so usually pretty close to the top.

Howard, if you're having trouble running the update, you can just uninstall the Comanche and then redownload the new v1.2 installer from your account on the A2A store instead. You may need to manually remove the "a2a-aircraft-pa24" folder from the Community directory before reinstalling. A few of our customers who have the MS Store edition seem to have run into the issue, and as far as I can tell, it's because the Xbox app or something is protecting or encrypting files in their Community folder, so once they've been installed, the installer is then blocked from uninstalling them. Windows sure can be mean sometimes! 😅

Thanks,
Nick - A2A Simulations

Edit: oh, by the way, we increased the number of store downloads to 25 with the v1.1 update, but if anyone feels like they're running out (usually as a result of using a download accelerator) then please just drop us a line on our forum.

Hi Nick, I have done this, or so thought I had, and rebooted. I will retry once again and make sure it's not finger trouble at my end. Cheers.
