FSHUD beta: Do not say your opinion - you will be banned

As said above - every company and developer does it when it comes to rude, non-respective conversation.

Well they don't get banned they can still at least see posts. We have got two different sides here. Judging by someone who posted earlier the same happened to them and when they complained to Flight1 they were actually embarrassed it happened. Not a good luck really.

Besides I got the squickies about FSHud as soon as the legion of <word not allowed> ( read f a n b o y s ) were over here posting on every update about how "wow" it was.

Same here. Curiously, it seems that the enthusiasm has dropped a few notches since then 🙂

I clearly remember when all of a sudden, it seemed like a PR campaign for FSHud descended on this forum. Statements like " This will be the end of all other ATC programs, because nothing will be able to beat FShud"  popped up by several people. Guess that never happened.  😉

Will never beat Vatsim

Every time I hear "Vatsim", and I flew Vatsim for a couple of years, I immediately think of " Flying with Unicomm as my ATC", because that is what I usually wound up with 90% of the time.

one should never have to pay for a beta product. payment normally results in expectations of some value in return to a customer, but one should never have to pay for helping a developer to find bugs in his unfinished product. I have been on several Microsoft/Asobo betas, they never charged anyone for a reason, instead we got a free copy of the final FSX back then. any disclaimer like "you knew it was beta when you purchased it" doesn't change that a bit for me. there are business professionals and there are amateurs.

Just to make this clear: FSHud has not charged to be part of the beta.
You buy the current product as it is (for MSFS and P3D) and then it is optional to join the beta.

However: I would call it Early Access 😉

ok, didn't know that but I think this is merely a play on words. either way, you pay for an unfinished, buggy product. I stay away from those for the very reason to avoid the hassle that you have described with no rights nor refund. again, there are reasons why Microsoft offers the monthly game pass. you can test drive/fly and then decide before making a final purchase. if a developer is convinced of the quality of his product I see no reason why they shouldn't offer a time limited version. that way we wouldn't have such discussions.

ok, I think each side has made their positions known. I don't see any new information posted so it's time to shut this down. I doubt further discussion will be fruitful.
