Please respond to your customer.  Again, great job! 👍

If you are talking about the IXEG, Goran is not part of the dev-team, just FYI.

I got to tell you about the most scary flight I've even been through when revisiting this thread upon reading @mjrhealth recent post. I was on a flight to ESNS a number of years ago (pre 2014 as

Thanks, but he's the one who's defending iXeg the most effusively. Interesting... 🤔

Now how long as the 737 being around, no updates. Boy you really have no clue. Xp10, updated to 11 and now 12. With more updates in work. You really have no idea how long this takes do you.

I'm impressed, because he's the one defending iXeg's ineffectiveness here, again, a product released almost 2 years ago without a single update.

Hi, my name is Marco and I’m the Release Manager of X-Plane. First of all, many thanks for the video! I decided to start the public beta process very early. Normally, I would have waited another two alpha cycles until every known issue was solved. However, I just wanted to share the work with all X-Plane Users. We are still tweaking things, fixing bugs and sorting out other areas. This is a huge update with many changes to the core engine. I’m actually surprised how stable it works. If you find any bugs or issues, please report them to us.

Putting aside the absolutely insane claim that 2 whole weeks between updates counts as abandonware now.

Have you actually reported any of these supposed issues you think you found?

I payed for XP12 version (so forget about the XP11 version I have payed for, that's "another product") and I didn't get some updates they promised for like 1.5 years....I think they earn some criticism for sure...

Although I buy add-ons based on "what it is now" and I'm fairly happy about it. I can see for it's price, many other add-ons in this range are iterating faster and have more functionality.

They move faster than FlyJSim, I'll give credit for that.

tkyler, the ixeg dev has been working inside Laminar, so its not just been getting relevent updates and fixes, but also ones that benefit everyone.

Oh geez, you're doing a "great" job, almost 2 years and no updates on your product since launch. Wow, impressive.

Err, by the way, there are unanswered questions from April in the forum you suggested (from April last year).

Hey, it was said here in the thread that they will answer all the questions.

Did anyone respond to the consumer?  Again, great job iXeg! 👍

I never said I work with IXEG.  I just respect the work that has gone into it.

What the nay Sayers do not say, is there are many add ons that never made it into 12 because it was just too much work and expensive to do it. As I said previously, this was nearly dropped for same reason, but it has being a very popular add on, and was being asked for. How long it takes to give us the next update, is however long it takes, if they had told us there was one coming. im sure it would be the same people complaining just like this that it isnt on time. Its a constant in this sim thing. Lets complain because we can. I imagine rewriting the code for an FMS from scratch would take some time, off course theer are experts whio can do it in a day.

Alright, we are on page 7 of a thread that was done on page 5, I think. Now it devolved into political statements.

There is a forum for the IXEG and Hamilton has been to it, so he is aware. It is a common pattern by customers that feel that they are always right to vent on a forum not affiliated with that product, we see that on the .org, too - normally this behavior is quelched fairly quickly by a moderator, as no platform wants to harbor the mudslinging that often ensues.

I think everyone had time to form an opinion of the characters involved (I stayed out of it as I will only provide support for the IXEG 737 on our dedicated support forum), and I think it is time for a mod to close this one @tonywob?

Work, Jan. WORK!! That's actually one of those words that sounds weird/funnier the more you say it... WORK WORK

Not a support question: were the vortex generators on the wing suction surface optional equipment on those early 737? Or were they considered a permanent design feature?

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
