Pssst. You will wake-up all lemmings that are convinced by: better visuals = better sim. They don’t care about details like aviation-stuff.

Pssst. It’s people like you who scare other users away from the Xplane forums here.

This place needs a major overhaul.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

I'm afraid I've lost the path, what was this topic about?

Indeed. The X-Plane section of Avsim has just become a cesspool. They do more to put X-Plane and its community in a bad light than just about anything else.

I spend 99% of my time in MSFS, but for the past 3 days I have been flying nothing but XP12. And I can't pry myself away right now. There IS such a thing as enjoying each sim for their differences and things that they each do better than the other. As for visuals, I gotta say... atmospherics-wise??? XP12 stepped it up big time. And I can't wait to see what they do with 12.0.8 and especially, 12.1.0! Things are only gonna get better here. The changes they talked about coming for XP12 are music to my ears. It's really on its way up, as far as I am concerned. I can't wait to be pleasantly surprised by the stuff that's coming that will make it even better! And now I am going to invest into some more 3rd party aircraft for XP12. I was just upset that I lost my FlyJSim Boeings from XP11 and the Felis Tu-154, because those can't be used in XP12. Felis became freeware with no update in sight, and FlyJSim doesn't have an XP12 version yet, but I will likely have to re-purchase it if I want to fly it. Those were some good birds that I miss.

I'd love to see their faces now most of the things I told them were never coming to MSFS2020 have now been officially bounced to "maybe" MSFS2024.

Turns out developing a decent flight sim is hard, time consuming and expensive. Totally unforeseeable.

At least it is very entertaining 😁👏

No, it’s really not. In the slightest. If you find it entertaining, I would be inclined to say go and visit the docs.

Precisely. I use xplane 12 every now and then, it’s a good sim. Just can’t wait til they fix the AA up, then I’ll probably use it more often.

I do wish I could believe you, but... you make it so difficult...

This must be the most intelligent comment on these pages that will for sure greatly contribute to a better discussion.

About Laminar’s announcement for the next developpment steps. Got of course hijacked by « some » who feel disturbed by those good news and had the need to turn it into something negative. Nothing really new.

I’m not quite sure why you keep quoting me?

Yup, by people like you. Calling msfs users lemmings for starters. No need really is there?

Almost as intelligent as the rubbish you keep spouting here in these forums then. Such things as lemmings for starters. No need for it.

Asobo’s sales must be for them to announce a new version that they will resell for FULL PRICE to their lemmings (again)? Lol!

Here is an example of one of your antagonistic comments that start the ball rolling….. Lemmings? Really? Very mature.
