It's an update that fundamentally changes the Fenix A320 in looks, handling characteristics, realism, ease of use, etc... It is something to get excited about in spite of its lengthy delay and is the point of this particular thread. You've some points worthy of further discussion, however this thread isn't the appropriate venue for them. In terms of promoting excellence, Aamir said on Discord yesterday that the Airbus BUSS will be reinstated for the Fenix A320 in the next build, as they now have good references for the redrawing of displays with it activated. Here's what BUSS is and how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERz2pdHC-rQ https://www.pprune.org/tech-log/505799-airbus-back-up-speed-scale-buss.html AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440) Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

It's a beta that might take potentially weeks. Wrapping up the installer typically takes up to 72 hours. I believe it was incorrect choice of words. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

Per what was said when someone asked "is the wrapping up solely tied to those pesky bugs or would the same level of wrapping up have been required regardless?" "Same ish - we have more to do because we've dealt with those bugs. Fixing bugs means writing more/new code. It needs to be both tested, optimised, and wrapped up neatly. Made maintainable, made performant,. So on. The more new code you have, the more you have to do at the end to deploy it to the public. So it can take more than 72hrs. Its just people do not read what is put correctly.

February 2, 20242 yr I think something some need to remember is this update, which is a massive task.. and is Freeeeeeeeeeeeee! What other dev has or is going so far to push what's capable at the present time. Yes it's taking time. but Rome wasn't built in a day. They could of charged and many have said they would of been happy to pay. The fact they are reshaping the air frame, fixing gear compressor etc. Having a change log that is rumored to be more than 10 pages. Edited February 2, 20242 yr by carlanthony24
