Razer Cortex

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has used or is using this program and what their experiences and thoughts are.  Basically it includes a system optimiser and a game booster.

The program is fully configurable to your needs and requirements and optimisation your system and running game booster just involves clicking one button for each and reverting just needs one click of a button.

I've been using it for a few days now and MSFS seems to run a bit smoother and I'm getting a few extra FPS compared with what I had before.

It's free, so it costs nothing to try and if you don't like it, it's easy to uninstall.

Let us know your thoughts.

I've been using it for the past three years. IMO, I think it may be of some help on lower end systems, where you're trying to scrape every last bit of performance, but on higher end systems, I'm not sure. I did do a short test shortly after I installed it, but TBH, I don't remember seeing any noticeable improvement. I still have it activated though.

Are all the "tweaks" reversible? eg. Does it make any registry changes that can't be undone?

There is an undo button for both the system optimiser and game boost buttons.  An optional registry cleaner is included but I don't use that.

Razer Cortex is junk software and does nothing.

(I've been using Razer products pretty much since Razer launched its first products).

I had a bad experience with it. It cause MSFS CTD a lot!

For me it is counterproductive, When i'm using it the performance seems to be worse.

Would maybe a different outcome when there was a dedicated MSFS Profile in Cortex. For other games which are supported it maybe makes sens

No issues here at all, saves ram for sure...
