November 24, 20232 yr First of all, Bonus points for making their announced release date 😏 Can anyone let us know how it is so far? https://www.passenger2.com/ Edited November 24, 20232 yr by environmental_ice
November 24, 20232 yr I see it has a free trial period of 30 minutes. Kudos to the developer for offering that.
November 25, 20232 yr Don't want to bash the developer but think it is really funny it says: : Cleared for Depature" instead of Departure. Look at the beginning of the video 🤪 Edited November 25, 20232 yr by rob0203

Look at the beginning of the video 🤪 Clearly it's a development video from ages ago. It's been corrected on the release. I'm finding Passenger2 is really good and the devs are really down to earth and helpful. Wouldn't bash them over something from development phase. Very promising addon.
November 25, 20232 yr I am playing around with the program and so far absolutely love it. They have already updated to take care of some minor bugs on release and will continue to add aircraft and new features as it goes but this is definitely a great replacement to FSPassengers. Love the fact there are ground handling and catering contracts as well as setting crew wages etc. You also have to manage on board items such as drinks, food and duty free items along with spending money on advertising. I am completing my first flight and so far this is well worth it. system i9 10850K NVidia RTX3090 24GB Samsung SSD980 m.2 1TB (x2) Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB external drive Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SSD Asus B460M-PLUS Mobo 32GB GSkill DDR4 3000mhz Ram using P3D v5.3

I am completing my first flight and so far this is well worth it. Guess it's not for me then. Don't want to be managing any of those things real pilots don't manage in real life. I'm busy enough configuring and flying the plane. But nothing against those who like to play a tycoon game instead of just flying the aircraft. November 25, 20232 yr You can automate the in flight services etc so you don't have to worry about that stuff while flying. system i9 10850K NVidia RTX3090 24GB Samsung SSD980 m.2 1TB (x2) Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB external drive Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SSD Asus B460M-PLUS Mobo 32GB GSkill DDR4 3000mhz Ram using P3D v5.3
November 25, 20232 yr I bought and instantly regrated it. Constant connection bugs. App came up as tiny window so with high resolution screen it's very hard to read. Can't minimize maximize or scale, so I stuck with that awkward state. fs passanger lack customization like editing/adding 3rd party airplanes. So I stuck with the list of aircraft I have no desire to fly . There is simbrief integration but I it didn't work for me . So When I selected "free" flight I had enter in tiny boxes departure and arrival zulu time manually. Since there is no basic flight planning included you are on your own to figuring it out . So frankly at at the current state unless you want airline manager fspassengers is sub par to Air Hauler 2, Pilots Life 2, and Neofly that I own. P.S. By the way asked developer for refund, but developer refused to do so due some term and conditions that I wasn't aware of. So I refunded via paypal. You're calling it FSPassengers but I don't think this has anything to do with the old FSPassengers. This one is called Passenger2. Or am I wrong and this is from the same developer of FSPassengers? November 25, 20232 yr It is not same developer. DanSteph from FSPassenger long abandoned the addon. This is a completely different developer and also note there have now been three updates to fix the minor bugs and on their discord they are taking feedback to help fix any new bugs people are finding. I didn't have any problem with the simbrief integration or frankly any part of the program so far. I do agree though that they need to do something about the window. Also, sd_flyer, you realize they are constantly updating and will include eventually all real world aircraft correct? The list is ok for me as I mostly fly A320 and A330-300. November 25, 20232 yr Did you try the latest update that fixed simbrief? Hopefully you are getting a better experience. system i9 10850K NVidia RTX3090 24GB Samsung SSD980 m.2 1TB (x2) Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB external drive Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SSD Asus B460M-PLUS Mobo 32GB GSkill DDR4 3000mhz Ram using P3D v5.3
November 26, 20232 yr I'm not sure what you are seeing ywg256 but to my eyes this could quite possibly be one of the worst flight simulator addons ever and it is very expensive! Thankfully the 30 minute trial has saved me from spending my own money on this but I do feel very sorry for those who did the pre-order before the trial was available. Wowzers.
