November 30, 20232 yr Well, what a difference this makes, eh? It's like a new sim. I can't tell you how bored I was of seeing summer trees and fields in November. If you are still on the fence.....get off of it. Even the trees are now at a correct height. 20 quid and it's literally changed the world. November 30, 20232 yr Yeah it's an absolute gamechanger. And they are very generous with upgrades. I'd only bought the original Accuseason (some time ago as well) and yet got a free upgrade to Accuseason Advanced. November 30, 20232 yr New version of Rex Accuseason - Page 29 - Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) - The AVSIM Community A lot of people like it and are quietly enjoying it - I certainly am. We are in the phase where most people who talk about it online are in complaints mode, though. In order to be impartial, I should highlight that the competitor product by Bijan Habashi, Bijan Seasons pack, has very recently had an update for the first time in a long time. There's a lot of admiration (because his version was first and doesn't have nearly as many product authorisation issues) for his add-on. Yes, I saw all the problems with the release and read every complaint but they seemed to be mostly related to those upgrading from the previous version and/or over now. I had absolutely no problems with the purchase, install and registration of the product and so far it's the best improvement to the world I have made. It's incredible from the parts of Europe I have flown over so far. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

The complaints also stem from the 'Terrain Coloring' option which doesn't discriminate in covering airport aprons, taxiways and runways, as well as landside roads with the autumnal brown texture. Doesn't bother me as I much prefer to see season appropriate colours, than the lush summer greens that are present everywhere without AccuSeason enabled. Limitation of the tech. Pick your poison. The roads are unpleasant at first glance but the fact is, when I'm low enough for them to appear ugly I'm too busy flying the aircraft. The overall effect is much improved with in on for me. Can't say I have seen it mess up airports in any way yet but I'm sure I will encounter it soon enough. Can you disable that feature if you don't want it? I haven't looked yet. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
December 1, 20232 yr Just now, Jazz said: Can you disable that feature if you don't want it? Absolutely. The feature is 'Seasonal Terrain Coloring' on the 'Terrain' tab, which you do not need to apply. I much prefer to have it activated (currently the Mid Autumn preset) as it works better with the autumnal vegetation colours. I just set it to automate and changed the tree sizes and it made Europe look like it does outside of my window.
