December 1, 20232 yr @fppilot Assuming you have it set to automate then maybe go into the REX folder and you can check by the date of the files that the automatic installer is functioning correctly ?

Have you asked the Idahoans what they think? 😄 29 minutes ago, fppilot said: More of the same. What am I doing wrong? I know most people prefer the 'Automation' or 'Select by date' update feature of AccuSeasons, but given how late we had Autumn/Fall here in the London, I manually selected a specific vegetation preset to keep it much more green than would normally be the case for mid-November. Currently, I've selected the vegetation preset called 'Harvest' for some variation in the sim. Though, that doesn't match what we are experiencing irl, which is far more yellow with most of the leaves having now fallen. The colors REX is giving me in the sim are still 80% green (unchanged) /20%changed. This week I am flying across the country from Baltimore to Kansas City to Denver to Long Beach. More of the same. What am I doing wrong? I am getting enough color to proclaim I am not seeing default MSFS. Maybe not working for you? Install issues? I say this because I live in PNW and currently are seeing big green conifers and multi-colored multi-type “Fall” colored deciduous. My experience FWIW. It's borked and doesn't download 2 of the 4 files needed for the vegetation changes. Been happening since the release and they still haven't fixed it. I've let them know about it on their Discord. I was seeing full fall in real life and nothing in the sim until I figured it out.
December 1, 20232 yr Are people using standard or resilient vegetation colour tones? And what is the difference? Thanks

The base sim doesn't have any. If it installed correctly, you will see multiple REX AccuSeasons Advanced folders in your Community folder. Ensure you have completely uninstalled and deleted any folders relating to AccuSeasons 'basic'/v1/OG/not advanced. The other thing that I noticed was that some of the AccuSeasons Advanced folders had blank layout.json files after an update. Fortunately, I had kept the original files and so just copied the text from the layout.json. Perhaps a reinstall of the program if you see the same issue? December 1, 20232 yr I’m enjoying accuseasons advanced for my low level runs through the Scottish valleys in VR. I have the terrain colouring on which I think makes a big improvement to the uk. I didn’t use it long enough to notice if it messed up my roads as I also installed this which I bought in a recent sale for a few quid, which is subtle but enhances things again… https://secure.simmarket.com/taburet-uk-ireland-roads-msfs.phtml 787 captain. January 20, 20242 yr Where does Rex install the weather themes? I have installed them all with the Rex app, but the themes do not show up in MSFS weather presets. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

January 21, 20242 yr I do not have these folders. Are you using Steam or Microsoft Store edition? I'm on the store edition I have Rex Accuseason Advanced installed in C:\Accuseason. The app detects my MSFS version after launch and I can do the initial settings. I don't get any seasonal textures though after selecting files for January 18-24th. Rex installs files, but trees are as green as ever in Europe. Isn't there supposed to be something in the community folder? There's nothing there to show the seasonal change took place. I'm obviously doing something wrong here... Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
