But as someone mentioned above, RSR has stated this Beta will be quicker than others, which historically has been 3-4 months. I’m thinking we could see this bird sometime in February.

All because the Triple won't be released does not mean something else will. If they did drop the MAX for instance how long has that been tested for since it was confirmed they could drop it any time and has been ready for a while. The last sentence could mean we just get previews or we could end up with a product. The wording is what people are going on.

Yes, I agree that PMDG may drop the Max anytime.  Unlike the 777, PMDG is in competition with IFly for the Max, so that's why Randazzo has been tight lipped about the Max, so as not to give IFly any information.  For the 777 though, PMDG doesn't really have any competition. PMDG could release the 777 even in 2025 or 2026, and I doubt there would be a serious competitor.

Still, even if PMDG were to drop the Max at any time, I think what I wrote about any hotfixes and PMDG staff still applies.  It's very bad for morale, and it really annoys staff, if they have to work through their Christmas holiday. For that reason, I think this week would be the latest the Max could drop.  By next week, it's too close to Christmas so there wouldn't be enough time for a hotfix without ruining the Christmas vacation of any staff who had made plans for their Christmas vacation.

Nothing will surprise-drop in the next 12 months or so (except the already well-known contenders Fenix V2 and the iniBuilds A300-600 who will battle for the best Airbus in the oncoming months) 😉

I wonder how the MAX will release.  One package of all variants (unlikely) or will it follow a similar pattern as the NG with Max7 first, then Max 8, then Max 9…at least there’s no Max6 to get in the way of the Max8 😀

Base and expansion packs are not allowed on the marketplace so they will have to be separate like the NG, unless PMDG release one package with all.

There is a MAX 10, but like the MAX 7 it's not certified yet IRL.

Why would Fenix and inibuilds compete? A300 and A320?

I doubt PMDG will release anything before Christmas. With most everyone being home and off from work, this would likely create a lot of demand for support around the holidays, and who would want to deal with that? I do expect a few nice previews, though.

Because they are the best Airbusses. Even the EPIC cockpit mod IDC (like the superior X-Plane12 version has) is planned. When I heard IDC radio panel my full interest was caught.

P.S. That 777 egg-nog hint was for Easter 2028, not this year´s Christmas -related.... 😉

Still doesn’t explain why Fenix and Inibuilds would be in competition regarding their a320 ceo and a300, I don’t even see their Neo competing with Fenixes a320, two different aircraft.
