December 7, 20232 yr https://pmdg.com/pmdg-777-for-msfs/#product-tab-description That template page still has photos and text of the P3D version. Anyways, let the speculation begin. Personally, I think the PMDG 777 is probably close to beta testing, if they put that page up. Reminds me of when they put up a similar page for the DC6, and 737 for MSFS. December 7, 20232 yr Hm half of me thinks the 777 is at least 6 months from release (because they haven't shown a single pic or any concrete feature preview although there was so much time to do it) and the other half thinks the 777 is about to have a suprise release on Christmas (because they haven't shown a single pic or any concrete feature preview although there was so much time to do it). I would honestly reconsider my strong negation of RSR being the reincarnated Michelangelo, if they pulled that off... For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
December 7, 20232 yr I think we're grasping at straws here, hope to be proved wrong though. AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
December 7, 20232 yr I will need to add 8 weeks to whatever release timeline takes place. Waiting for the 300ER. Mark CYYZ
December 7, 20232 yr Maybe they are fooling people to believe it be the triple when it could be the Max.

Hoping to be pleasantly surprised and that the -300ER will be first out of the gates, but going by their 737 roll-out strategy very likely not. It was a bit of an odd comment by Robert, so I think this possibly has some merit. I don’t think we’re getting a surprise Christmas release, but if the next release is a MAX it certainly wouldn’t be outlandish.
December 7, 20232 yr I wonder if the PMDG 777 will actually outsell its 737 series, IMO I think there are plenty of simmers who passed on the 737, but are itching to get there hands on the 777. Honestly I think the Max would be the best seller then the 747 and 777 last. Most people are asking the Max and people would prefer to fly a four engine aircraft more.
December 7, 20232 yr I stick by what I said in the other thread: PMDG are renown for lots of publicity. The first major and most highly anticipated long-hauler won't just suddenly appear without months of previews and missives. We don't even know if it's in beta testing yet. Why should they do so with the 777? PMDG has announced and previewed every single aircraft for a long time before release. The 737 entered beta on 12FEB22 and was released 09MAY22, that's three months. In September 2021, the first screenshots of the 737 in MSFS were released, which is release date -8 months. Given the fact that we haven't seen a single screenshot of the 777 in MSFS yet, the 777 release date is at least 12 months away in the best case. As sorely afflicted simmers we know that the "best case scenario" never in the history of flight simulation ever occured. Why should it be different this time? As PMDG is a Vegas based company, I'd like to place my bets: 777 entering beta somewhere in JAN24 or FEB24. First Release Date will be annouced for autumn 2024. Various delays will cause a release in JAN25.
