Any idea why Toronto would be so bad for performance?

Featured Replies

Not sure what's going on. Every other airport I operate out of, including NY is fine. But CYYZ just kills my performance. I also get a lot of video driver crashes. Frame rates are single digit whereas everywhere else I'm in the 40s. Including NY. Any ideas?

No sir.  Just the normal sim updated airport.

Typical Toronto behaviour if you ask me...

Although  it does hit my frame rate, its nowhere near single digits. Something seems off.

You sure you did not add some sort of add-ons, even freeware.

It seems something may be amiss. I fly in and out and around Toronto a lot and my framerates are int he 20s, on a 10700K with a RTX3070. I keep my settings on high, not ultra, but I rarely experience any issues, with the exception of landing at Billy Bishop, which can be problematic.

Ever try driving in Toronto? EVERYTHING in Toronto and everything about Toronto is slow, just bad frame rates all around. In all seriousness I don't have any issues in Toronto in VR with almost everything at max with a 3090ti and 12900k. If its cloudy things do get slow sometimes though.

I have Flytampa Toronto and it performs really good on same par like KMSP from Flightbeam. Don't know your specs?

Can you remove everything from your community folder and try again.

Not sure if it is something like a default mesh/scenery issue but I found even with XP11 Toronto and the surrounding area was harder on resources. That was with an older less powerful PC though.

You might be the center of the hockey hall of fame, but the center of the hockey universe belongs to another O6 team you lost to this week!
