for RNAV approaches it works like a320 or this bird doesn't have  rnav option for land?

I believe it works differently to the modern Airbus line. Someone posted these steps on Discord (I've not tried them or if they are indeed correct)

Procedure to perform an RNAV approach:

  • You cannot be in a profile mode. Must be in LVL CHG or V/S
  • You descend to the platform altitude of the approach
  • Go to TO/APPR page and type in the MDA
  • Then a prompt will appear saying 'Final X.X'
  • Execute that prompt and the glide will appear - most usually 3.00 degrees.
  • Once activated, you will see a top of descent arrow at the final appr fix.
  • You need to be level at your platform altitude before your final approach fix.
  • Once in ALT HOLD (at this altitude) press PROFILE - you will see on the FMA P.DES appear armed in blue
  • 30 secs before the descent it start to flash to signal descent will appear. It will descend on the glide as soon as it receives glidepath signal. NO NEED TO LAND OR V/L.

If anyone knows any different feel free to correct the above.

Nice plane and  its great to fly but performance is very bad its not working at all at hevy airports for me. It start stutters and camera movements goes blurry on ground an short finals. even at flightbeam kmsp. When turn off framegenerator blurrynes disappear but then get like 17 fps.  Pmdg 737 and fenix works so smooth even at ini. Kjfk. I have 7800x3d and 4080 settings high and LOD 150.

Have you tried the low res textures.  I downloaded them from the app, although I am not exactly sure if they auto install as the plane still looks fantastic. I have a low end system and found performance very good.  Only slight pause on descent into a payware airport.

Same here, on high end system. Will install optimized textures and retry.

That's pretty much it.  You actually can descend to your IAF altitude/platform alt in PROFILE mode but when you pass the IAF you would want to be in a "selected mode" (ALT HLD or LVL CH or V/S).

We skip to the end, were people usually summarize their thoughts. Which is exactly what happened in that video as well.😉

Per the above - it appears he likes the aircraft, acknowledges it has bugs, but is worth the asking price.

Interesting. 13600K/4090 here and at 4k with pretty much everything on ultra with TLOD 150 and FSLTL. I still get 50-70 at Drzewiecki Design KBFI and 80-90 at smaller airports like Verticalsim KBOI. A bit worse on performance than Fenix but nothing as bad as you're experiencing.

There are almost no FedEx or UPS aircraft of any kind flying today (January 1st) but on most days, if you search FlightAware for airframe type “A306” you will typically see multiple FedEx and UPS A300s in flight.

That is the procedure yes - one note though, and I might be wrong so anyone that knows, please correct me; but I think it can only do a 3 degree glide for these overlay approaches so if the approach glide is anything but 3 degrees then the approach is not recommended.
