Autopilot wouldn't refuse to follow heading in heading mode or "direct to" in nav mode. Flight directors where inconsistent showing bank and night aligning with magenta line. Resetting autopilot didn't work either. It keep banking into deep turn. Flying manually 3 hours was not viable option. Ok I just started this flight (2nd attempt) and this time it seems to be working ok. I'm still using v1.01 to see if I can replicate your problem. After takeoff 18R at KAUS I climbed out, then did a direct-to PAYDA. This worked well. Then flew the MUCKY3 departure. Did you perhaps clear the discrepancy in the FMC? I did not do that. I figured it's there for a reason and anyway vectored to PAYDA. Currently at FL320 and finished my climbout on my way to FUSCO which is between San Angelo, TX and Midland/Odessa, TX -- so far so good, no lockups or weird behavior using your flight plan. Going further they created a separate chat group where users have been given instructions to create a crash log when this happens. Though so far the group is having trouble replicating the ctd on a consistent basis. I also have the bug. But it's intermittent. Once the airplane makes it past the fly now screen everything is fine. Edit: i give inibuilds lots of credit though. They have embraced the CTD and have gone to work quickly on it with the community. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
January 6, 20242 yr I am loving the A300, but I am also quite impressed with IniBuilds quick fix / patch rate and their engagement with the community. We also have the other free engine addon coming soon. It would be great if some of this could be carried over to the A310 (including performance), but I fear the two products are too far apart, and they will be busy with the A350 development and A320N fixes etc. Edited January 6, 20242 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). While this is true, the initial state of the aircraft on release was abysmal. I mean it still CTDs on loading the flight every once in a while and it still has WASM crashs (all displays off, aircraft falls from the sky) after two updates. VNAV is still fundamentally broken. At least "aircraft goes 50 degress pitch up after pause menu" seems fixed. No other study level airplane has been released in such a sorry state and to be frank: There's a pattern for iniBuilds. The A310 and the A320neo have had similar problems and are yet to be fixed. Just imagine PMDG or Fenix releasing an aircraft that literally crashes in a myriad of ways for many users. All that said I agree I love the A300 and it will be a fantastic product, once it gets fixed. Edited January 6, 20242 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. I mean thinks like the pause menu and all those WASM crashes on certain flightplans/routes would have been noticed early in a proper beta test.
