March 8, 20242 yr Has there been any update on the sws pc12? I know they were struggling with ground handling "model", not sure how everyone else seems to account for this correctly? It has been out a while now and just have not heard very much. Mine has been sitting in the hanger because it was just tooooo frustrating to fly. Chris Chiozza

March 8, 20242 yr Nothing. But long overdue. An addon that had the potential to be magnificent is now hangared for me, due to the flight handling characteristic problems. SWS are off my white list until this PC-12 finally becomes flyable, in a reasonably convincing sense. March 8, 20242 yr Yeah - the release felt a little rushed when both the TBM850 and the FS Reborrn M500 was released. System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3

Was released with much hoopla and many promises. So many promises were never realized and it never moved beyond P3d 4.0 and was abandoned by community and the developer it seems. Pity, -B
March 8, 20242 yr I'm fine with them doing some rework on the EFIS that can help them advance capability but surely the top priority has to be the flight handling characteristics which have been problematic from release. Why not prioritize those and get a release out on that first (since the EFIS works fine and the aircraft is otherwise fully flyable)? I love everything else about this plane but this has really been poorly handled or they are out of their depths on the flight model aspect. The discord has been full of back and forths from the devs about the rudder and yaw issues with all kinds of different responses as to whether there is any issue let alone what should be changed about it. If they could have acknowledged from the get-to that yes, there are issues on that aspect of flight handling and we will fix it, it would have saved their credibility more. I still have good hopes for the update when it comes because I really do love their work on this aircraft. But there has been no discussion on discord of long complaints about the EFIS needing upgrades. The main problem has been p-factor / yaw / rudder-interconnect systems. So I don't really understand how that isn't the primary focus first. Fingers crossed that the update will be a good one and hopefully soon. AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
March 9, 20242 yr Yeah, that happens. Competition, too. Thankfully, I have always loved their Kodiak and Zenith. This bird is also fun. March 9, 20242 yr I really like SWS PC-12. It's probably the best turboprop simulation I've ever seen in a flight sim, and with amazing sounds to go with it. The only problem for me like many others is the flight dynamics. The aircraft becomes almost uncontrollable if your not off the runway by 80 knots (especially in a heavy crosswind) among other things. They say this is necessary because of their advanced flight model. I think they need to find a better balence between realistic and something thats more usable in desktop flight sim. Appart from that, I'm looking forward to failures and the new EFIS update.
March 9, 20242 yr Pretty disappointed it's taking so long to fix the yaw issues. I left it in the hangar months ago.
