What resolution do you use? Because even on my screenshot I can read the text... Not sure how come FSHud is blocking so much in your case. Could you post a screenshot?

4k. It doesn't block the whole screen of course but if I don't minimize it I will end up moving it out the way until I need it. The point here is the pre-flight screen is way too big and unnecessary. It tells you to do NOTHING until after your flight is live..so why not do that the first time then option for a simple FSHUD GO button to load up the app once your are in flight. Even better have it invisible completely then load up automatically (if user chooses) after you've clicked FLY NOW. Seems redundant to have a screen in the first place that says DO NO CLICK me lol.

Are you aware you can assign a key or button to hide / show the UI? So you can have it hidden all the time and only show it when you need it with just a press of that button.

Apart from that I would highly recommend to use a second monitor with flightsimulation. You can use it for flightplan, charts, weather, all kinds of addons like FSHud. It adds to the immersion a lot if you don't have to put any windows in front of your virtual cockpit.

You took the words right out of my mouth. 😉 I only have the FSHud UI onscreen for about 5% of my flight. And I have it completely hidden until I actually want to start it. I have assigned a knob on my control to toggle the UI.

Yes, same here.

Or You? ahh oops same person.

Recommend reading my post in full before ....giving suggestions!

Sigh...I don't know if there's a word for this syndrome but it's everywhere on forums these days.

Example:

Fred: I'd like to tell someone the A21 is flooded. I didnt see the water at night....My engine almost got flooded and I had to turn round. Could someone tell the highway service to fix the drains?

Bob: Have you tried the A20?

Lisa: Don't take your foot off the gas when driving through floods!

Terri: Why don't you drive it in the day instead?

Alfred: I don't know why people need to drive at night anyway. It's dangerous!

Pete: I drive a jeep and it's never bothered me!

etc !

😟

Well, I tried to help you. Sorry for that, won't happen again.

but I wasn't at any point asking for help? I made a long and detailed (time consuming) report on suggestions to improve the interface of FSHud after using it for a few weeks and enjoying it. The report itself mentioned i have buttons assigned but they are not reliable

We have separated User Management system (from Flight1) - therefore, when you start FSHud on first time you should click on Activate.
If you already did that in past, click on forgot password (you can do that via email or Flight1 token).

Good to hear, but you are linking the F1 email to your own user management system. The main problem I have with F1 is that I use an outdated email address in their system, and they do not allow me to change it. It appears your system copies the F1 email and does not allow me to change it either.

Fine with me, I use something else then.

Please contact provide me your email privately and I will try to accelerate email change process with Flight1

I was surprised by the, let‘s say it this way, somewhat strange ordering process with Flight 1. I hope I will not have to use it again 🤣😂🤣. Anyway, I don‘t regret the purchase, because FSHud is the only ATC software for me, that works more or less. Btw, how can I close the program without having  to kill it with the task manager?

  • To say something about the topic. Performance is ok with FSLTL, but could be better, few stutters. Settings.: 4K, Rolling Cache enabled, 50% monitor refresh rate, FG on, OLOD 200, TLOD 300, most things on ultra.
  • Specs: Admittedly, I invested some 💰 in top hardware last year: CPU AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D and GPU Nvidia 4090.

It sits in the system tray. You can exit it there.

YES, found it! Thanks

today i made a short flight LEMG-LXGB and i have to sat that this ATC is awsome, the vectoring approach to LXGB was perfect!!!!!!!!

Installed it to give it another try. Unfortunately, it appears not to be compatible with VR at this moment.

I like fs hud. I don’t like being cleared all the way to cruising after takeoff, but I would think that would be easily fixed. One thing that I have notice is it seems like there are less voices in this version than there were in a previous version or am I just hallucinating. Seems like one female voice and one male voice.
