Thanks.  I go there, “buy” it and then it wants to open the INI manager.  I let it open but don’t see it in my library and if I try to “buy” it it again gives me the same error.  I have never seen such hassles with buying any flight sim product.

I did a first flight to KMKE with a PMDG736 an that was fine.I land at RW07R what works well and ( PG was of and is always ) i did not saw problems, at least no bumps at 07R..

Also i did a start on RW01L and found no bumps there, so not bad with PG of and the performance and fluid is beautiful on this V.1.0 release.

Thank you inibuilds for this fine and FREE airport !! 👍

And the GSX file from ini for this Airport seems to work well, at least it did for this plane on a gate ( but forgot the Gate number..)

cheers 😉

over a quarter of AVSIM members have PG switched off. That's a pretty big chunk of the market

Well, technically that's a pretty big chunk of the AVSIM members who bothered to respond to a survey here, and doesn't really tell us anything about the percentage of the wider user-base that do or don't use PG.

Not having a pop at you personally Christopher, but I suspect we on avsim can be somewhat prone to exaggerating our importance in the grand scheme of things

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Initial beta test completed. I spent a full hour trundling around the runways, taxiways and aprons at this airport in my PMDG 737-600 with PG disabled, and I did not find a single bump. The runway centreline markings (there are five runways) are almost all bullet straight, so top marks for that! The markings, buildings, internal detail, and even the parallax interiors look very good. I am impressed. To be given an airport with this much detail for FREE is amazing, and I am very grateful to IniBuilds for this extremely generous offer

The airport seems to be very flat, but then it looks exactly the same with PG on.

I did spot a couple of issues with the centreline markings (a couple of markings out of position on runway 07R/25L, and the displaced threshold arrows at the 25L end are not aligned properly with each other), but these are very minor problems, and only noticeable to members of the OCD Club

Based on these initial findings, I would say that anyone with PG disabled will be able to use this airport without any problems at all.

This is a dream come true as a Wisconsin resident who uses KMKE regularly!

And free!?!

As the others above have mentioned, seems just fine, no bumps at 25L etc. even with PG off which is how I usually fly.

Had great fun practicing with my Air Cargo Carriers Shorts 360 (based at airport).

And the airport looks exactly like the prototype to my eye, and I use the real deal a fair bit.

Why is everyone turning PG off? In that a requirement to use this airport?

That’s not what’s happening and no

According to Ini, PG ON is a requirement. This discussion seems to be about can it be used with PG OFF, and the consensus seems to be YES.

YMMV. TANSTAAFL,

I forgot to mention that framerates (with AI planes disabled) seem to be perfectly fine at this airport.

I had to reboot the app and now it shows in my list of airports.  It’s installing. Dang, what a difficult, non-intuitive app this.  I appreciate the free airport but man, I wish they’d make it easier.

I agree. I let it install the iniManager and the MKE airport.  It says it is installed but I'm getting nothing like what's in the video.  Also it doesn't show up in the Community folder or Content Manager.  I don't even know where it put it, because it didn't ask me.

I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Roy, on the one hand I have very high praise for INI, but on the other hand I have mixed feelings on their manager.

I got it installed and it's wonderful.

My results were different, I wish I knew what happened with your install.  Did you click on the gear icon and direct it to the correct path to the community folder?

Hope this works,

Jack

Thanks Jack.  I thought it was loading the download file so I had put it in a folder under my Documents.

So now I've copied it into my Community file.

Thanks.

Cool!  Does it work Roy? It’s very nice, and most appreciated.
