VoxATC IFR departure

Wilco, I’ll make sure to include that in my next video!

Here’s a quick demo of a variety of different voices at Gatwick, Oslo, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and LA.

Er.... I am hearing all kinds of voices often speaking at the same time...? Some with radio degradation (at a very high speed) and some without (at a regular speed). And then I hear a LOT of silence in between... Not really sure what I am listing to here?

And are all these voices included with VoxATC?

I used both TWR+GRD at the same time for some airports (COM1+2). Didn’t have much time to put together the video, sorry if it’s confusing

Haha, well, it's very confusing indeed. Might be better for VoxATC if you'd demo it when you have more time! 😉 Appreciate the effort, of course.

Still, I wonder why some voices sound normal (speed and sound) and others not (very fast and degraded). And: are these voices included with VoxATC?

All of the AI here are injected by VoxATC

@Cpt_Piett monitored ground and tower freqs to show how AI are handed off seamlessly and to give more Comms coverage.

The voices are not intrinsically part of VoxATC, but they are able to be freely used with it...no purchase, no subscription 😉

All of the voices can be individually varied from within VoxATC. You can adjust the volume and speech rate for them however you prefer.  You can use the voice itself, or with a filter applied, or with static background, or both.  So each voice in effect has 4 variants.  I lost count of how many voices there are, sorry. 😟

Thank you for the video, but not sure if it put VOX in a good light.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll make a new one. Just one frequency at the time, point taken. Any other suggestions?

You saw a fully integrated Simulated Air Traffic Control Environment in action, at 3 different complex airports, listening to multiple VoxATC AI being seamlessly controlled between 2 controllers and sequenced between themselves.  😉. And it's not made up, everything you hear there relates to an individual AI in the SIM, and it's doing exactly what it's instructed to.  Put yourself into that mix now... 😉

I'd slow down the speed a bit (for the degraded voices) to make them sound more natural. And I am not sure if you should demo the non-degraded voices because they never sound like that IRL (unless it is your own voice).

Next time, I've asked @Cpt_Piettto add some annotations so you can more clearly see the aircraft in question relating the controller instructions 😉

I get that and it's great but to me (and I am sure most viewers) it sounded like an odd mess because I sometimes hear 3 voices talking at the same time and all with different 'filters'. But lukicly a new video will be made. 😉

You have infinite control over every individual voice speech rate.  And you can choose to use non degraded or degraded as you wish.  You can save presets for different types of flights or regions and switch easily between them.  The demo is intended to illustrate the breadth and degree of control you have as a user 😁

So there are all free voices we can (or have to) download somewhere and use with VoxATC? Good to hear about the 4 possible filters btw!

That's what you hear if you monitor 2 freqs on com1 and com2 in a cockpit 😉

You might think that, I couldn't possibly comment 😇

Aaaaah, okay... Clear. I'd personally keep it at 1 com at a time LOL

Impressive though...! I will have another look at the video now I know what I am looking at!
