Whoah there buddy, you can't "Correct" someone's opinion with your own...neither are facts

I think perhaps someone needs to re-read my post again.  I explicitly said he was entitled to hi opinion about what he preferred.  I didn't correct someone's opinion with my opinion, I corrected a factual mistake with cold hard fact.  There are no 'alternative' truths in the universe.  I will defend until the end someone's right to hold and express an opinion, but I will not stand by and let falsehoods be portrayed as facts.  If that's a problem, I'd suggest leaving this thread.

I handpicked voices to get appropriate accents for the controllers.

Curious how many cerepro voices do you have?

I bought 4-5 just to test. Apart from those I'm using Windows 11 natural voices.

VOXatc currently released product has a 30 day trial:

Will the VOXatc for MSFS have a 30 day trial?

@Ray Proudfoot there's really no need to be like that. Please contain yourself.

@Lonesome Cowboy Burt, I've had to go back over a week to get the context of your accusation. You were wrong. Facts differ from opinions. And don't use bad language as the software captures it.

Without trying to bash one product over the other.

I am little confused as to what this adds from FSHUD.

They seem extremely similar.

What exactly does this add or should do better then the previous software.

What I get so far is :

Voice recognition.
Seem to indicate VFR. (That would be great)
AI Traffic control (FShud already has this.) How do you hope yours will be better or different.

For the rest I am not sure. What will be the main selling points.

Just trying to get a handle on this.

First of all, from my perspective it's not a competition between any product.  Each has a slightly different take on ATC and a different feature set.  Use whatever suits your approach best, and I hope everyone can find some app that gives them what they need in terms of ATC.  Everyone can be a winner here, so I appreciate you not bashing anything 🙂

VoxATC aims to be a gold standard voice controlled realistic ATC app.  It injects and controls IFR and VFR AI.  It will happily control you and AI VFR, with things like VRPs, LARS, MATZ, I don't think any other app does that in an integrated way?  Missed approaches, holds, procedure selection, emergencies, accurate vectoring, intelligent spacing and speed instructions... Voices...

Look at some of @Cpt_Pietts videos here and at the VoxATC discord, make your own mind up what works for you. Tbh I intend to own all of the ATC apps myself and probably use them at different times depending how I want to fly.

I’ve used FSHud a lot, it’s a great addon. Each has its pros and cons. I find Vox more immersive due to voice recognition. It is highly versatile and the phraseology seems accurate, as far as I can tell.

I thought the voices on the last videos were more then adequate.

One more question, will the AI traffic be based on real traffic or made up on the fly by VOX.

Will you be using FSLTL or your own.

Oh and AI VFR and IFR traffic at the same time ?

Glad you appreciated the voices 👍

AI traffic is based on the AIG flight plans (highly recommend AIG for present and future developments 😉 )

FSLTL won't be integrated - a lot of work was done to make it compatible but then FSLTL pulled out, presumably (although I don't know) to work solely with another app.  IMHO AIG is superior anyway, but thats just me 🙂

Short answer yes - would there be any point if they were separate? See my vids that clearly show airliners and GA being controlled coherently by Vox.  And patient spotters may see GA AI being instructed to use VRPs, make orbits etc 😉

We are working with AIG to implement their dynamic flight plans for GA, so Vox will ultimately be able to inject real registrations at authentic locations, flying dynamic flight plans that are different every time 😉. Not implemented yet, may not make the first RC, but is definitely on the roadmap

Here’s another video (yes, I’ve been busy testing Vox lately!). Nice to Barcelona in the 146-300. A good example that some airports just works (in terms of taxi layouts). When it happens, it’s a beautiful thing to behold 😀 As in the previous video I used a variety of voices with local accents.

Agreed! @Kaiii3 and his team are doing such a wonderful job developing AIG. Not related to Vox, I switched 100% from FSLTL to AIG a while back. The AIG AI manager is very user friendly in its current iteration. Using the one-click installer, models and flight plans can be downloaded globally, or per region.

Btw I’m happy that the voices are appreciated - personally I think they’re awesome! Currently flying from Ireland to Scotland, the different accents really add to the immersion.
